Here is a breakdown of the tools I use to build miniature houses and miniature kits.

1. Exacto Knife
2. Scissors (preferably little scissors)
3. Glue (Tacky Glue is a good start)
4. Tooth Picks (for precision work and gluing)
5. Wire Cutters
~Also good lighting is a must!

Keep the fancy tool! 😄The bone folder might come in handy if you need to fold thicker paper like cardstock or greeting cards.

Very true! I’ll still probably use it for other things but it just wasn’t a sharp enough edge for the tiny little folds

It’s really easy to get excited and start buying a lot of tools. But I realized less is more. Sometimes something basic can do the same function as a fancy tool (looking at you, bone folder 🤔)
