I bought a 2010 tundra exactly one year ago to this day. It had 98k miles on it. I lost my 01 in an accident (not my fault) and used the insurance money as a down payment for what was always my dream truck. Iv had to replace the secondary air pump, fuel vapor sensor and gas cap. All which cost around 400 total. Other than that, i can say with all certainty that this truck will be mine as long as i can help it. I still get giddy about it when im just driving to the store

What color is the clean side supposed to be and is the filter reversable once cleaned

They’re about the same color but one side is a little lighter. Not reversible though - you have to pay attention to air flow direction, same as a disposable filter

@TheIceColdGarageКүн бұрын
Thanks for the question, I just recorded a video for it to find out myself! The 2amp battery took 34 min on a 2amp charger, and 57 min on the smaller 1.25amp charger. 2 2amp batteries lasted about 25min on the v20 mower.

@TheIceColdGarage15 күн бұрын
Sounds like something wrong with the unit - I doubt you’re doing something wrong with it. I’d bet it’s the battery not the weed whacker. I’ve heard of similar issues with the mower but more along the lines of running for a few minutes then stopping. Hopefully you’ve got the receipt for it?

I have two 1x1 steel square tubes that I basically want to make into a 2x1 tube. Should I stack the tubes then JB along the sides between the crack? Or should I do it like wood glue and JB between the tubes then keep them clamped overnight?
@TheIceColdGarage20 күн бұрын
I’d say use just a little bit like glue- like a really thin layer, then “weld” the cracks like caulk and keep it clamped overnight.

Worked exactly as you said it would, thank you. Thank you for the recommendation for the magnetic bit too, it was worth the couple extra bucks even though I'm probably only going to change spark plugs one or two times in my life max until we're all using electric cars. On the pack for NGK plugs for brand new plugs it says to hand tighten and then turn between 1/4 and 3/4 of a turn and that's the proper tightness. If you're re-inserting the plug it's only hand tight because the washer is already crushed flat.

This is a great tutorial. Very new to trying to maintain my rental house yard. Just made my purchase yesterday and watching your video has helped. Have never used a weedwhacker before. Usual labor is crawling around on hands and knees to pull up weeds from a rather expansive back and front yard. However, I am still one step away from returning it because it doesn't have a button to feed the line and thus far have to manually adjust. Anyway, your video has helped me better understand my purchase. Thanks bunches. Blessings!

@TheIceColdGarageАй бұрын
It’s what I’ve always used but I’d say pretty much any big brand is good if you’re buying full synthetic. I’m at 275k and still going so it’s done well so far!

@@TheIceColdGarage I just bought the truck at 195k miles and I’m not sure what previous owner used since he always took it to the dealer and also spark plugs need to be done I’m sure
@TheIceColdGarageАй бұрын
@victorrivera7075 id say go with synthetic for the rest of its life, and plugs aren’t too bad - I’ve got a video on how to do it. Just takes time. Order them from rockauto and save yourself a few bucks over one of the big parts stores. A private shop tried to charge me $64 per plug plus labor when I bought it 6 yrs ago
@victorrivera707529 күн бұрын
@@TheIceColdGarage guess I shouldn’t worry too much about plugs?
@TheIceColdGarage29 күн бұрын
If you can’t find it done in any service records you have I’d say do it. They’re supposed to be every 120k for the 5.7 so even if they were done at 120, you doing them at 200k won’t hurt it. The 6 cylinder tundras called for every 30k to keep within emissions standards so I’d say early isn’t a bad thing.
