I bought a really cheap pocket knife from Temu for my keychain to open boxes and cut plastic tie cords at. I was just a little over $1 and I was surprised how sharp the thing is, so I was wondering about their tools. Thanks!

1) That table saw is terrifying. 2) I’ve found that pallet wood projects only make money if you ignore all of the time you spend collecting, breaking down, and removing nails. Your time is money.

Worked up in Oregon for a year plus and two of us built an 80 by 80 three story barn. The guy I was working for didn’t imbibe but he supplied unlimited coors for me. He drank Diet Pepsi. I’ll bet there wasn’t a day we didn’t each have at least 20. Working sometimes 38’ high. When I finished that job I hadn’t realized how badly I had become alcoholic. My hands shook by 9am. It took me weeks to ween myself down to normal drinking. I never felt drunk or unsafe

Crazy how drinking every day can make some people an alcoholic and make other people realize they don't need it. Both my mom and dad have addictive personalities. Yet I drank (a lot of) alcohol for a month every day and even smoked cigarettes for weeks. Never once grew dependant/addicted to either. My whole family called me an alcoholic, but I was just having fun as a teen. Family tried to get in my head about it. I knew it wasn't healthy, but I also knew I didn't need it. Glad to hear you were able to ween off, some people don't have that self control.
