I've been brought up as a Catholic but on my mams side is protestants.. the division is so fcking pointless 😢. Really baffles me. Could a protestant answer this question please as I've yet to get a real answer lol Why do protestants get angry at catholics making the sign of the cross ? This was just the “best” interview! I’m a 74 year old Canadian and I saw Nathan this past September in Belfast. What a performer and listening to this interview shows he’s also an outstanding person. All the best from Nova Scotia!

Phil telling of his parents' reaction when he said he was going to make his career in music reminds me of my parents' reaction to my husband's job. This was back in the 60s, he worked in aerospace and he had overseas assignments. My dad was appalled, was sure there was something very dodgy about it all, and my mom initially didn't believe we were actually taking the photos that we brought back home. Phil Coulter's music is among my favorites and I'm really enjoying this program.

Gerry kelly i cant say enough of how much gerry is the man of all radio presenterds .we miss gerry on the radio . Gerry kelly we love in Ireland north. South ..nathan im not really interested in him as i really do not believe hes for the fans hes more for the money there is a lot of country music in north Ireland that isnt the same as it was in big tom days with mainliners .good luck to nathan but luck from me wont matter to him ..its gerry kelly im watching

I have always loved the Priests over the years but had not listened to them in a while and thought I should listen to their Christmas songs today, which I did. In the process I came across this interview. Was very glad to catch up on how they have been but was painfully sad towards the end of the interview because of their answers to the question about vocations and married priests. I am honestly so hurt by the fact they have gone the modern way.and not Stück to the tradition and teachings of Jesus Christ. I write this all respectfully. The answer in support of women priests was particularly wounding because Fr. Eugene quoted from the Bible ...and the Word was made flesh' and he said it did not state man or woman?? What? Is it not clear the word made flesh' is Jesus Christ! How could he imply it could be a woman? This is basic Catechism! They should ask themselves why there is a shortage of vocations over there instead of saying the solution is priests marrying and insinuating women priests. Look around in other parts of the world, there are places where vocations are thriving. Find out the reason why and you will see it is because they are faithful to the teachings of Christ and not pandering to what the world wants. The current papacy has clearly created so.much confusion. I thank God that Jesus said His Church will prevail no matter what. That is what is giving us who want to be faithful to Him hope in these troubled times within the Church.
