The camera angle changes are far too abrupt to get a sense of where we are looking, I think. It's offputting and detracts from the suspenseful ambiance that such a solemnly narrated introduction is suposed to create.

I always like the story between Kenshin and Shingen of Uesugi and Takeda clans. xD It's like hearing about two chess players.

Not only can they not fully defeat each other, they both each have defeated two of the three unifiers of Japan without losing. Shigen defeated Tokugawa and Kenshin defeated Nobunaga. The only thing that defeated them was illness.

@@michaelblower7363 Takeda Shingen was intending to go for Kyoto so chances are, even one of them being alive would be enough to fuck Ieyasu and Nobunaga up. Remember that Shingen himself understood the greatness of muskets and had a decree (forgot the source for this one) saying something like "Decrease the amount of spearmen and arm capable men with guns" so Nobunaga will be unlikely to pull a Nagashino against the Tiger of Kai. Takeda Clan did allied eventually with the Uesugi clan but Shingen and Kenshin was already dead by then and their heirs were far less competent.
