I never really played Rise of the Samurai is it good? gameplay wise?

@@CourtesyyAlt Some players don't like it as it can feel like a watered down version of the sengoku jidai main campaign, whereas fots offers a completely unique experience. I personally quite like it, you've smaller levy units, and samurai act more as horse archers, which is really what they evolved out of. Rather than having large ashigaru conscript armies, you've levies as cannon fodder, and smaller groups of elite samurai carrying the day which is quite cool. I think unfortunately it's a bit too similar to the main campaign, so it's more of a novelty. But still, worth trying.

I honestly love how simplistic it is. No fancy in-game cinematic (though that would've been cool to see for each family)
