Still more beautiful than any new Lamborghini. Ferrari Aston Martin or anything thing else. ❤❤❤

I always thought something was off with the styling of the XJ220. From an artistic perspective, unlike the visceral E-Type. Plus switching out the XK moniker to XJ and turning a chapter to all the great history was a display of supreme arrogance.

It's also worth remembering that just when the XJ220 came out there was a huge recession in Britain that had just started which may (or may not) had an additional adverse effect on sales.

7 minutes in, video stated that Gandini revised his original design. I believe this is incorrect. I believe that Romano Artioli actually comissioned the architect of the Bugatti factory premises to style the car used for series production. These videos are great and much appreciated, but please try to do more thorough research before producing them.

Mir Jaffar was a hero for Hindus of Bengal, he did them a favour by inviting and aiding the British. The Muslim rule was atrocious and the people under them were suffering so much. But the narrative is set as india vs the British. Well British were not the heroes all over the country the demographic and conditions of people were not as bad as of Bengal.

I used AI to make a vid. once and had to "fudge" the written text to produce accurate narration. For example, an 811A vacuum tube is not an "eight-one-one Ah". Had to write out "eight eleven ayy" just like this. It's what they're called. Just thought I'd point this out, it makes this vid. hard to watch.

Had the pleasure o recently admiring the XJ220 at a car museum in the Hague, alongside most supercars of the 90s (F50,EB110, CLK GTR, GT1 Toyota and Porsche, McLaren F1). I think it was the prettiest of the bunch, though I love the F50 the most.
@AutoSapienYTАй бұрын
yeah i agree, however F50's was same as like XJ220 Was, it failed! btw, would you be interested if i make a video on how AND Why F50 failed?
@iulian2548Ай бұрын
@AutoSapienYT I think the F50 was misunderstood. It certainly didn't fail, it wasn't meant to be the fastest thing on a straight line, it was meant to provide the best driving experience of the era without killing you. All the cars of the era had their flaws. The small displacement of the engine was a feature for me, not a flaw, less intimidating to drive but still powerful with a unique sound. I suggest listening to the 23rd September Carmudgeon Show.
@AutoSapienYTАй бұрын
ok so, what would you like to see next instead of F50?
@iulian2548Ай бұрын
@@AutoSapienYT Tbh, personally I have a decent overview of the era since I was a teenager back then and was fascinated with those cars and did a lot of research when internet was available. Also, there is a lot of material on KZbin regarding these cars. If you want a challenge, something regarding why the vanilla F1 was overrated (though I love the car). What were its weaknesses and why there were multiple crashes by famous people (Rowan Atkinson, Musk). Because it was a very peculiar car to drive, best acceleration, very tricky handling on the limit and subpar brakes.
