its the literal same melee system except in V2 every melee weapon can parry. Only devils claws can parry in DT. To my knowledge.

using brace of pistols in v2 feels like the bolter on full auto almost lol guns arent just situational in v2....theyre OP. the repeater pistol would literally half bosses when you unload full auto lol. fighting burblespue with ranged was like using the bolter against a daemonhost.

I do have a set of the Ork Kommandos that I have yet to build, too. So they are definitely doable!

Absolutely one of my favorites. And I found it because of the Cursed City ruleset. I didn't even know it existed!

You are a hundred percent correct. Even when I started to warm to a character, they just felt sort of...slimy. I can say that the books painted all of these characters in MUCH better lights. But then, they spent more time showing other characters and how everything intertwined. I particularly started getting mad when characters made blatantly stupid decisions that just made zero sense!!!

Hi there! You have a few options. Presuming you have the starter set, you can sub the intercessor warrior throwing the grenade for an assault grenadier. Same with the gunner. There's an intercessor warrior that would qualify. Since you only get 6 of the 7 models, subbing one around shouldn't be a big deal. And when you look at some community sites, they're pretty laid back, suggesting that if the character has some grenades on their model, they can be a grenadier. If you don't have the starter set, or you don't mind spending a little money, you can pick up a box of Space Marine Intercessors. They're around $50 on US Amazon. Those will give you every option and you'll have 10 models to build. Then there's no subbing. Those characters will have the exact weapons you want to resemble the characters specifically. They aren't push together, so they can be a little more challenging, but the sky's the limit when it comes to options that way. Here's a warhammer community article with some pictures. I dont think it's sprint= good game, I think some people just prefer a game with a faster pace overall, which imo darktide has faster paced action than vermintide, not by much but there is a difference

V2 kinda needed it anyway, its' bigger less linear maps kinda call for more time between slaughter

The box shows him painted up as a Sanguinary Guard. And there's a different topper for the backpack, but I don't think it turns it into a jump pack. But you're definitely right. They made it easy to take that step for a slight kit bash.

Not entirely true, darktide rewards u for exploring, u can find currency, like plasteel, diamantine, Heretical dolls. Martyr's skulls are hidden with puzzles/parkour. It's still possible to do these on higher difficulty if the team is on point.

When you move to the next section during a horde, the points are either recycled into the next section, or the enemies can go through into it, depending on which part of the map you’re moving into. Rushing into an elevator or airlock means you still have to fight the horde, just in the next section.

I guess so. Just keep in mind tho that they're not just "classes" but they are also premade/story characters. Because of that you can only pick one character each in a game. It's like trying to play with 2 Tracers or two Soldier 76s.

⁠@@societycasefileshaving 3+ of the same class always gets kinda meme-y. which is fun and diverse. but yes they aren’t different characters like in vermintide, so that makes sense why it doesn’t work in VT. triple ogryn (protect lil un), triple zealot (everyone competing for zeal and discrimating the psycher because mutant) or quad of them always fun. vermintide also doesn’t have fun stuff like Ogryn rock both games are fun if you get to understand the mechanics though I guess (I currently suck at vermintide lol)
