I (kind of) enjoy street photography differently than how others usually do. Most people shoot horizontal with 15-25mm (M43) and try to get a wide shot to get a story of "the street" while capturing the environment. I on the other hand love to shoot vertical and candid shot of people with the purpose of telling the story of that particular subject and make it stand out to create a story out of it. This is somehow similar to what you're doing here. I currently do this with a 32mm from my lumix gx850 kitlens (12-32mm) but now I'm considering a telephoto prime lens to up my story telling game and so glad to have found this video because I'm considering getting a 42.5mm prime lens and this video showed the closest kind of photography I'd use it on.

@@projectpph Yes. Someone after my own heart. I've been thinking about street in my latest video and I think I enjoy the close up of people more rather than the wide. I still enjoy the buildings and wide shots but gravitate towards characters. Using the 12-40 pro was good so I can zoom.. Great to hear from you 😆

Your street photos are better every year. Excellent set of images. Jerry is looking well. Keep doing your thing in framing and choice of subjects, lighting, and focus depth, don't have any concern of what your style is or should be, as you will double think everything. Just line-up quickly, see things as you do, and snap. There will naturally be some style develop, or perhaps several depending on the mood that day. Let Jerry take care of the birds and squirrels, and you the photographing. Take care, Loren
