Great video, as usual! For those who wish to verify the integrity of these downloads before attempting to install them as firmware, below are their checksums. Very useful Roberto. You made me wonder if my venerable E620 needed updating but it appears from the Olympus website that it has never had a firmware update. Either they got the camera just right first time or that they couldn't be bothered to do an update! 'Jerry, have you finished the website yet?'!!!!!

Haha... Prob the last ones they made. Most times it's stuff they add that I don't even use with firmware on these old clunkers. Jerry working hard in the background 😁

About 5 years ago, i had my e620 serviced, i asked them to update the firmware. It came back with the latest version as well as a mysterious CF card that contained the firmware files.

I forgot to mention, you can also read the shutter count on those cameras via a service menu. I think the information I found it on an old site called Biofos if it's still there. He was a friend of wrotniak, also no longer with us. I got lucky, my E500's and the E420 were very low shutter counts. The E420 is a blast to use and has live view.

Rob you know what would be a fun camera, a nikon p1000 or even p900, what's even more fun is a Thermal Infrared zoom camera for detecting UFO's, I tried looking to buy here but don't think it's possible.

The UFOs upgraded their shields so it's harder now. Actually my next video is very close. I'm doing an Olympus sp100ee with a red dot scope. It's equivalent to Nikon p600.. you read my mind. I'll do a sniper video sketch 😆
