The switch from 1/2" cartridges to 3/4" ones allows to increase the flow by 12 GPM without increasing the pressure drop that the passage of oil through the cartridge provokes. With this easy replacement a skid steer loader gets equipped with auxiliary hydraulic couplings sized appropriately for connection to high-flow attachments, but it’s important to verify if the machine’s hydraulic system (pump, diverter valve, etc.) is sized too.

Very useful video, in 4S distributor shop, it's quite common to see issues mixed with residual pressure & contamination.
