The switch from 1/2" cartridges to 3/4" ones allows to increase the flow by 12 GPM without increasing the pressure drop that the passage of oil through the cartridge provokes. With this easy replacement a skid steer loader gets equipped with auxiliary hydraulic couplings sized appropriately for connection to high-flow attachments, but it’s important to verify if the machine’s hydraulic system (pump, diverter valve, etc.) is sized too.
