@jameswiscott6480 that's awesome to hear! Would love to see an update video sometime in the future! I was very skeptical at first when I saw this website and it's 3D app to create your own custom swords. Especially since it was offering tool steel folded and clay tampered. Gonna for sure buy a katana now

Ohio, 5 acres. I bought it fivish years ago And I've been working on it on and off ever since.. I don't remember how much but I got a deal on it. Because the ground wasn't great for a septic system, so the people who wanted to build a house on it. Decided it wasn't worth it.. I looked at a lot of properties, but most of them were not secluded. This one being by a farm was secluded..

As an old guy I'd like to offer some advice. The lock on a door on a place deep back in the woods normally only results in a damaged door and does little to nothing to stop thieves. With nobody around to see or hear them they have no issues breaking stuff. Some signs about Beware of Dog here and there might be helpful as a deterrent. If you plan on running your driveway back further I would like to suggest a base layer of river rock first and give it a couple years use to push into the soil before adding a top layer of crush or chat. It will hold firm and save money normally since most places river rock is cheaper. Love the place you got there and your creating with what you have on the place ( wood logs and poles ) for fencing, gates and such. Our places zi have done since 1997 all have had variations of Jenkins "Humanure Handbook" composting toilets and we love them. Missouri and eastern Oklahoma are clay and rock for the most part so creating soil is a must. It was nice to see you doing the same. Never need a plumber, no plunging, no water everywhere it's just simple and works. You mentioned not using a gas mower, you using electric? We switched to almost entirely all Greenworks now. We started with their corded stuff for most of our needs in around 2010 but kept gas for our rider and things to far for a cord. Now in 2021 we swapped all over to their 60v system for our Riding mower, string trimmer, chainsaw, pole saw, pole trimmer, leaf blower, pressure washer, shop vac, push mower, and work lights. Never need to run to town for gas, no carbs getting messed up from sitting over winter and the batteries charge up quick. Hope to see more updates.

@spudrubble all good advice thank you! I want the lock for when I'm sleeping there with the family. I might keep it unlocked per your advice when I'm not there. River rock is a good idea. I'll try it... yes I use v20 craftsman electric mower and Weed Wacker. It works great! Is the 60 mower strong enough to pull loads? Was wondering about that. That's for the tips!

If You plan to use a single large board You can't just square it up; You have to look for the vein, then cut it in half, plane the 2 pieces separately, reverse one and join them again. in this way the opposing forces prevent it from cupping. Ask a friend woodworker nearby, of if You haven't one, go to a forum.

Man that’s way too thick. They used to have a smaller one with more rounded edges and not that rough border around the playing surface. Like the 12 inch Shogi and Xiangqi boards they still sell use that frame still. No idea why they stopped using it for go, even in my Xiangqi set you can see the circles inside that would hold the go stones containers when this frame is printed with Go on it instead.

@@theduddha2 Do you intend to teach your kids Go? Lee Sedohl became Pro at the age of 12, so it might be useful to start out very early. Things in Germany are not so good. Corona is still an issue. I'm trying to figure out if my go stones are actually glass as they claim or melamine plastic, which is much more common... so I'm scouring KZbin to find any reviews of the melamine... and lo and behold! It's you! I'm still not 100% sure - these stones make that same clinking noise (and aren't just like, little hollow plastic pucks), but your zoom in at 9:19 assures me that these aren't the same as mine. My white stones are basically non-edible Mentos in shape/color/weight, not flat like yours. I do actually like the matte finish on your old stones too.

I'm watching and trying to follow along with what you mean for that book quote - and then you go "Who understands that? That's crazy" 😂 THANK you. I think I need just parenthetical definition of terms for a little while until I can remember them - or mnemonics. That last example, I would have gone for the easy kill as white (those two stones to the far right) - but I understand when you're explaining that it would be skipping my only chance to stop black from getting like 9 moku, so I shouldn't do that.

Man, I love your explanations. Whenever I learn something, I really need to know not just advice, but the consequences of ignoring advice (and what I should do in that case). I feel like a lot of explanations would stop at 3:07 and take for granted that I know why white needs to block. I'm ready to feel confused. But then you say "if white DOESN'T block," and I sag in relief. Love this series. I'm going to try to hold myself to watching all of them - and practicing along and replaying parts that I need to.
