I was thinking about using the metric system in my life, but after hearing this, I’m doubling down on the US/British imperial system. I don’t want to be a Nimrodian brick. I want to be a unique stone, along with the regional culture and identity.

This is a tough conversation because believing In something can just mean trusting in it. Example, I believe In Gravity because I trust in what it will do. Absolutely. I have no clue what it is though. Same with Hashem. I have no clue what he is, what his intention is, If the Torah is his. Some of those things I have faith in. That he is good, etc.. I know that everything does not come from nothing, and it had to be created by an intelligence of some kind. What ever that is, is Gd to me. I have faith that he is good and in the teachings of his Torah because of the incredible beauty of it all, from the smallest of particles to the beauty of the cosmos. I have faith that the Torah is his because of the Jewish nation and their history. I have faith is his teachings and that they are good because it teaches such kind and loving things. dont steal dont kill. I hope this makes sense to you.
