I had Kasa set up on another email and it address. I have moved and want to set up Kasa in my new house.

How do I stop people putting the heat up over 22 please , is there a way to set up heat up to 22 and if any one try to go up it will not thanks

Now if my Nest Learning thermostat could learn when I'm home and when I'm away. It used to, but now I can stand in front of the thing with my phone in my pocket and the Nest thinks I'm not there. Of course this isn't consistent because if it was, I could solve the problem.

Great video. Schedule expects us to run the AC for hours! Is there a way to do the simple thing of switching off AC in say, 1 hour. This will help to switch on AC before sleeping and then not worry to switch it off manually later.

Hi, I got a new ac system put in, in March and was given this thermostat with it, but no manual from my h/vac company and we've had headaches ever since. I do like the app though because I am disabled and it's easier for me to control it because I can't really stand to reach the thermostat on the wall. My question is how do you make sure the thermostat is shutting the AC off when it's supposed to? I haven't been able to figure that out and our ac has been running between 20-24 hrs a day according to the app. Our old ac system had a thermostat that would click on and off automatically and it was not an issue, but since we got this new system put in, the thermostat doesn't seem to do that even though I was told by the AC company that ut would. No one showed us how to work this thermostat beyond telling me to go on KZbin so any help would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

For everyone asking how to schedule it to off, you just select the time you want it to go off, and set it to a really low temperature. For example ours comes on at 7am set at 19c and then at 9am it’s set to 10c. As the room temperature won’t get below 10c it’ll never turn on until your next scheduled time.

So if you set it for 72 @ 9:30 am and for 76 at 9pm what temp will the temp be set at between the times? For example what will it be at 6pm? If I want it to stay 72 do I need to input 72 at every hour increment until it gets to 9 where it’s set to the 76?

I set my heat for 66 at 9:30pm at night, nest turns on heat at 12am at 70…WTF? It seems we MUST enter a temp setting at 12 AM each day

I have experience with all three Nest Thermostats. My favorite in the exact order: 1. Nest Learning thermostat 3rd Gen 2. Nest E Learning thermostat 3. Nest thermostat 2020 I ended up replacing my Nest E learning thermostat for the 2020 model only to find out the hard way that my Nest temperature sensors are not compatible with the 2020 model. I used the 2020 model for about 2.5 years and recently upgraded to the Nest 3rd generation and have no regrets. Should’ve gotten this model over the 2020 version. My 2020 model is now sitting in the 3rd Gen box and I don’t intend to ever use it until my 3rd Gen for whatever reason stops working.

I tried everything and could not get the plugs to pair... FIX: I had to go in to my modem settings and set my wifi channel to same as the smart plug (ch6) and it paired right up.
