SOG’s biggest advantage is the bit driver built into the pliers hinge.

Imagine it having a bit driver instead of that useless ferrodrod and used the storage as bit storage instead.

I do like the idea and I'm glad it's not copying anthony that is still in production. The only time I'm OK with not buying the original design. This would be a great gift for the right person. Thanks for sharing

If they'd replace the serrated blade with the outside scissors rather than the large file that'd be about perfect.

I’m attempting to loosen the action of the small tools. My first attempt was filing the edge against the spring without taking it apart and seemed to help some but I was not 100% happy. Second attempt was to take it apart but one of the pivots is pretty stuck, I have low hopes.

These things go for around $10 USD on Chinese websites, which is the most I would spend; if I needed a pen style knife.

I like the form factor, looks basically like a pen that wouldn’t take a lot of space in a pocket, perhaps not a shirt pocket but still pretty compact. 👍

I looked at these, and went with the Rocktol 12 in 1 instead. I liked the tool set better. They specify 7cr17 steel and other reports say it's a better grind and edge retention vs. Gerber.

I won’t do a multi tool unless it has locking tools. I’ve tried gerber arm bar at work and using the screw diver was infuriating and it was I front of a tenant which made it worse. It kept folding down. I switched to a leather t2 but the tools are fairly short and you don’t get many. Just ordered a ROXON and am very curious to see how it does. I actually work in the trades so I know the difference between a little gimmicky piece of shit and a real tool the gerbers are for weekend warriors imo. No such thing as perfect multi tool yet

I think non reflective coating and stainless is fantastic. However, even some red or blue parts would be a nice change of pace. Like, the Signal, or Custom CenterDrive, I like how they have options for people to make their gear a little more personalized.

Longtime subscriber, first time commenter... Please review the Flissa 16-in-1. I just got one from Amazon for $9.99, and I think it might be the most bang for your buck I've ever seen (at least since back when Leatherman Micras were $11). I'd love to hear your views on it. Thanks! Love the channel!

Check these videos out here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqPcqayLoKdkjrc kzbin.info/www/bejne/poWnkn-OqLN_sKM The Flissa 16-in-1 I believe is basically the same as the Bibury version and very close to the Blackhawk version as well. Thank you so much for your longtime viewership, it is much appreciated! Feel free to ask anymore questions! Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for your reply. But there is more than one Flissa "16 in 1", and I'm talking about a different one. I tried to include a link, but I'm apparently too old to be given one. It's the only one I see priced at $9.99 on Amazon. Thanks!

i think I prefer the IF23, bigger battery, more lumens, the powerbank function is awesome. Also id rather have a sidelight rgb beacon than the modes featured, although the police one looked cool. Flashing red sidelight actually has practical use and you dont get that mode on the IF24....

I bought one. Its definitely not as good as a Wave. Definitely made from the same crappy 5cr Chinese steel as the rest of HF knives and is pretty soft. The only thing that might compare is the bits since Leatherman bits are crap to begin with.... I use Wiha with the Leatherman. This clone looks good though. Bottom line: if you don't care about the steel, if you are just a Walmart gun section knife kind of guy, this will probably be fine but don't beat on it because it will break and deform. You'll be sharpening the blades A LOT if you use them. If you are a former Leatherman guy, premium knife guy or just looking for a second Wave/Wave+ without the cost, pass on it. You'll be disappointed. Icon knife people tried to hype the knife up to being comparable to a Benchmade which its Chinese D2 tool steel is nothing compared to Benchmade USA SV40/SV90. Same thing is happening here. Just be aware. Its a good clone of the Wave, if you put it in the Amazon clone category.

I was going to buy this IF24 (the PRO variant), but was put off by one aspect of the UI: The rotary switch automatically switches the selected function ON. Meaning you have to navigate past all the in-between functions in the ON state to get to the one you actually want. Hopefully this is updated so that it always remains OFF whilst turning the navigation switch, until the centre button is pressed. JETBeam seams to have learned this very lesson with their E26 model currently on Kickstarter, which uses a similar interface. On that model, fortunately the light is not switched on when just the rotary dial is turned, but also requires the centre button to be pressed once the mode selection is made. Hope that makes sense!
