St Zephaga can swing over dino, drop ex7 shoto, trigger end of turn, swing at him, use ex7 grandgale inherit to unsuspend, gain the immunity, gain the dp suspend shoto to get blocker and piercing,

Y'all should try blue base blue hybrid, it's pretty solid just gets held down by an abysmal Mirage matchup. Also it does kinda feel like a full coin flip format

8:32 UlForce needs another dedicated Veemon like BT11's was. Not sure why people in the call were apprensive about it. We have to borrow Veemons from Imperial like EX01 which has no effect and is just a stack piece with a good Inheritable. That or play Jamming Rookies or Blue Floodgate Rookies. The decks bottomend is still suffering due to only the Level 4 issue being fixed with Veedra Promo but not the Level 3 issue. Its all stack pieces but not dynamic and flexible like how modern post BT14 decks are. The Promo Veedra solved the issue with the deck not having good Level 4s. Hybrid Lanamon/Promo Veedra/3rd Level 4 of choice works. New Rina Shinomiya Tamer would be cool too.

Bro I've been topping pretty frequently with Zephaga and like to think it's because of skillful play but at my last locals I got WORKED by Gallantmon. GallantX being like 23K and immune was just insurmountable. Even when I tried to medieval and swing over it while memory was on their side with vortex but Crimson Mode ACE sent me to the shadow realm. Not sure 2.5 support is enough to help Zepha either tbh

I want to be with you on pulsemon, I love the deck so much, but gosh those weaknesses are prevalent and hit hard. Source stripping in particular feels crushing.

Seen mixed results from people, regarding seeing "fun" decks more often, or meta decks more often. Friend of mine only ran into Mirage and MagnaX for a dozen games in a row, and was never the same person. He just wanted to make Beetlemon and J.P. focused deck work. I am happy to see anything that isn't top 16 at a big event, but still functions enough to be considered a deck. I try to get the guys at my locals to at least do one night a month, where we play with stuff not used in top decks. A couple people here only play stuff worth less than a couple dollars, because university student life is rough sometimes.

I recommend running less tamers. You lost because you drew into too many tamers and didn’t have Digimon to play to apply pressure and help close out the match. I recommend running at least 2 of the other Myotismon tamer instead of running the Alice. After that you should run Mist Memory Boost as your memory option. It helps fill up your trash and give you memory to work with when playing your cards. I also recommend running Goblimon in the deck since you trash stuff from hand a lot. Nidhoggmon is incredible too. I actually recommend running Rookies and Level 4s in the deck. Goblimon and the dark animal engine helps this deck a lot.

Really cool to see people keeping up with myotismon! Just a personal take but I find zwart defeat to be really useful in the deck. It helps with a little extra aggression and is our only out in the takemikazuchi matchup that I seem to hit a lot 😅

I played a zephaga build at locals last week for the first time, I really felt the situations where I wasn’t getting vortex off. The memory from the ex7 fluffy is nice but sometimes I just need SOME way to suspend that isn’t high investment to proc vortex/control board state. Especially since you can do shenanigans like (if attacking into a creature) fluffy suspend an ace target, grandgale unsuspend, zephaga suspend self spin ace target, complete battle. Also I got mem floodgated like 3 times so, that contributed lmao
