that plug-in tech needs correction. it checks for the cost before the digivolution is declared at which point Okuwa X's reduction does not apply yet, so it cannot combo with Okuwamon X's reduction.

Yeah, I just had an extensive back and forth with various judges. There is an official q and a from Bandai that would suggest that using the card that way would be an illegal use of the card. It doesn’t work that way
