Great video as always Dave. I fish for those hybrids on the Mississippi River in NE Missouri and when I'm throwing treble hook baits I always use lip grippers. Those things are so crazy and strong that I don't get my hands near the hooks anymore.

The last tournament i was in about 2 weeks ago i didnt catch a fish until 2pm Weigh in was 3pm . I got 3 fish and about 5 minutes to go i got a good bite and farmed it. Only.weughed in 3 bass. If i would have had 2 more lbs 8 would have won .im pretty bummed cuz i havent won one yet and havnt been in the top 3 yet so i havnt been in the money. But dammet ive been close a few times.and when your tournament fishing theres always that chamce to catch a bass right up till the last minute.

At.the end of the seasonthe top 6 from every clubhave a tournament for the TOC Tournamemt of champions event. We are half way thru the season and im sitting in the middle of my 24 club members . I have fished in 5 of our club events so far this year and i have yet to make a top 3 apperance yet.i think my best finish was 5th ,but im averaging about 7th place out of about 16 anglers and i usually wpuld do better when i use to just fish for fun.but i just joined my local club here in north san diego and i just cant catch a break or anything to help me get a pay check or top 3. Hopefully this next event i will get in the money .its the first week of december .i just ordered a couple of special jdm hard baits that should help me get a couple more fish in the boat. Love your videos .and yea its a bummer when your only weighing in 10lb bags.i know.the feeling .
