When you’re throwing the BDS, are you making contact with the bottom? Are your fish biting when it’s banging along the bottom, or just swimming it through the water column?

From what I saw it had claws painted like a craw daddy custom and the original I don’t think come with those.

I’m not much of a crankbait fisherman except for squarebills. And I fish those a ton. I’m usually trying to have the bait make contact with something. On those banks you’re fishing that don’t have timber, are you making contact with the bottom, or just swimming it in?

On 10 lbs line I can tick it alittle in 5ft of water… powerful bait… will catch them suspended too …Thanks for watching

Lucky Craft BDS 3 is the model and size of my loved crankbait…one of the crankbait rods has been discontinued but was very inexpensive and loved 😭St Croix Premier line of rods PC70HF..other rod is a Lews LKVDCC3…7 foot 1 inch rod … very inexpensive but is a very nice rod o e of my new favorites.. all my reels are Shimano Curado 201.. left hand model(200 is right hand)..some are the new DC models 😍but I like the 6.2-1 ratio for cranking and spinnerbaits …line is the 2 least expensive brands.. Trilene Big Game… 10 or 12 lbs …Fluorocarbon is Contra by Strike King…Sorry it took awhile to respond… my real job is winning last couple of rounds but.. Thanks for watching💪
