I love this. I feel like there's so much pressure to take hobbies "seriously" (or whatever that means) as adults. Turn it into a business! Practice your skills! Get better! I bet you can make money off it! There's never any time to sit down with a breath and realize that you can just *do* for the sake of *doing.* Heck, maybe for even less than the sake of doing! And that's not just okay, that's good. ❤

@@chloechoi8239 there is a little plastic tab insert that goes into the clear case and then you just clip on the chain to the loop at the bottom 🥰

Loved your walkthrough! I have a boox palma myself and love it but you nailed the downsides. I really enjoyed all the little personalizations to each e-reader you had. Here’s some engagement because I am looking at videos that compare various e readers, but Bezos’ GLOATING the day after the election kinda hammered home that I can’t keep helping make that multi billionaire get even richer with my few fun dollars because I loved the convenience. Especially now. It might not be forever, but at least for the next 381 days no smiley face boxes in my home.

The recessed screen is the reason you feel it's sharper than scribe... less layers on the eink. the matcha also should have an upgraded eink (carta 1300 vs 1200). I also read like you manga on scribe, it's the best! books are on my matcha

I have the 2022 Scribe and the 2024 Colorsoft. I use the Scribe as a daily planner as well to read when at work. The Colorsoft for reading at home and on the go.

19:09 whenever I compare a new e-reader to others I always notice these type of things rather if I was a "regular" consumer, I wouldn't even notice or care about them tbh. It's either the brightness is higher or dimmer than others or the quality might look slighlty grainy. That's why it's sometimes hard to recommend 1 out of the many of tried because of these minor details.
