If you want a more slippery sorbet, you could just add 400 grams of ice, instead of 1000. (But the recipe is great!)

Hi, I thought the measuring cup shouldn't be used on the lid while cooking at high temp? On the guide it says to use the simmering basket instead?

Yes, the simmering basket must be used when temperatures above 95deg are reached.

That is a great question!🥰 I don’t have biltong to give it a try. I guess it would work really well. It slice’s carrots very easily, so think biltong would work well too. (I will need to get my hands on some biltong to try😉)

Have you used a Thermomix® before? Very easy to use and you don’t have to stand and stir. I don’t like cooking and prefer letting the Thermomix® do the work for me so I don’t have to stand and stir in the pan.

Making Homemade mayo, even in the worst case with very old oil tastes better than store-bought. Saved my sanity while making Egg-potato salad a few days ago! Thank you for sharing this, was good to see that it worked so well in the Thermi with so small of ingredients!

Hi Ciara I don’t add any chilli, so not spicy at all. The green chilli isn’t very hot if you wanted to try by just adding one without the seeds.
