The Corsa B was probably one of the most influent and changing car on the 90's. Here it looks years ahead of the others. And thinking it dominated the sales until the 2000's.

The last Cossie featured has a current MOT! Records imply it was off the road from at least 2005 to 2018. The records may suggest the two F Reg ones were burnt out long ago.

Back in the 1990's I used to really look forward to watching Top Gear on then BBC2 analogue television. Quentin Willson always gave good sound advice when buying second hand cars, not only from car auctions but privately & car dealers as well. He had a quick & sharp wit & always to the point if not rather dead pan & dry in his humour! Good old VHS quality but you got those fuzzy lines if you didn't clean your VCR's heads! Thank you for posting.

Funny how Quentin completely missed out the 524 TD diesel here. Not sayin its the most desirable model n that but I'd have thought that even back then it coulda been worth looking for g8ven diesels were starting to become popular.

What I used to like about Top Gear, informative, practical and relatable. Even Clarkson was sensible back them. Now, it’s just stupid mid-lifers jeering perfectly good cars, and thrashing unattainable super cars for cheap cheers and ratings. What a joke. Jog on Top Jeer.

The ford seirra rs cosworth was a nice car cause you could have a car that wasen,t deer and was as fast as cars like porshe,s.the only thing was they were easy tae hot wire so they were a joy riding car theive,s car of choice tae steel.a thought the ford escort rs cosworth were better looking and was ma dream car when a was in ma early teens when they came out back in the 90s.

In the US it was sold as the Ford Contour. It was a dreadful car. Unattractive by American standards and significantly more expensive than the Ford Tempo it replaced. The rental car interior and mediocre driving dynamics didn’t help matters. Long term reliability must have been poor because I haven’t seen one on the road in many years.
