No matter than language being spoken between pilot/co-pilot and tower...there are 3 things that are said that can be understood universally: Thrust Rotate Gear down And all the video's I watch from the cockpit, this is yet another amazing take off & landing.

Had the pleasure to fly through a thunderstorm for over 30 minutes with a prop plane in the Maldives. Everyone (10 passengers) was saying their prayers (hindus, muslims, christians), meanwhile the pilots (wearing flip-flops) were busy talking about some cricket match. Wild ride for sure. Benefit of flying a jet is it handles much better :)

Cockpit sterility and soberness was most impressive!!! No banter or ridiculous joking around between the pilots as they navigated professionally during one of the most dangerous aspects of flying...which is multiplied 10 fold during these serious weather conditions! Trust your training, experience, aircraft (instruments), and your First Officer, and regardless of conditions good decisions will result! There was total confidence and agreement continuity throughout all decisions and checkpoints between the 2 pilots throughout entire approach landing taxiing!!!

Bless these pilots. May they get paid triple time. Amen.

Awesome! However, for others in the comment section: piloting is actually NOT hard, and does NOT require intense intellect, etc. You simply get trained, and do your job. All the buttons, dials, etc...all that looks so complicated, but it honestly just isn't. You want another example? OK, go to the nearest substation in your town (follow the big transmission lines), and look at it. Doesn't it look so complicated? All that metal, all those components, etc. But even that substation is not very complicated. But if you don't know what the different things are, it can seem unimaginably complex. So yes, pilots are awesome, and they definitely do have people's lives in their hands. But, they're still basically just bus drivers, but in the sky. I say all this to say that you should really appreciate your rental car shuttle driver taking you to departures JUST AS MUCH as you appreciate the airline pilots.

I've never understood how those engines keep running and sucking in all that water..... I'd probably set this one out and wait for some sunshine.😎
