Always liked these cars. I have a 1994 trans am and let me tell you from experience, you got WAY more room than I do. Even after I pulled out my electric fans lol. Nice to see someone showing a solid method of pulling the compressor with details like sizes. Most youtuber's get side tracked and never really get to the point, but you definitely did. Thanks for help homie, for real.....Oh and I got long tube headers so you already know.

I upgraded my alt on my 62 Impala now I got no crank or power. I got a 4 gauge running directly to the battery and a ground from the alt to the frame

@@BLK_WILL_SS which wires ? I just ran the power to the battery and ground to the frame. It’s a one wire alternator. Could be a bad starter at least that’s what it seems like. My car does not even click

@@Newmoneymarc it has power? Turn the switch on and use a flathead screw driver on the starter screws to see if it’ll turn over.

@@BLK_WILL_SS no power, update: something with the wiring when I took off my ignition relay thinking it was something else. Color matched what I took out with the relay but I think relay is blown since my generator blew so had to order a new one

I started off with 320 and then 400 to make it all smooth. Then paint and then clear coat. After two days I scuff it up with 800 grit and do the flow coat with the clear coat.

If you just replaced the motor, you should go over everything first though. Your issue could be something else.

The coverlay is nice. What you should have done was sanded down your original dashboard. This would make the fit much tigher and more snug. I cleaned mine and and sprayed the coverlay with a few coats of black. I am gonna modify it soon and trim holes in it and add some accents, if you are on facebook I will show you the finished product. It's actually a good investment. It's simpler than re-doing the entire dashboard.
