I agree with yourv review. It's a GOOD design. My current writing implement has a triangular shaped tube that gives me excellent handling and accuracy during long periods of writing. If you provide a model pen or pencil.with this accommodation I'd purchase it immediately and raise my rating to GREAT.

Nice Review. One huge positive of this Staetdler ist that the leftover leght of the leads is only about 6mm. - Only half of what most of other pencils "discard". Keep up the good work.

Nice video.. I bought this one in 0.3, it's so nice.. the weight and shape are so comfy ... I use it mostly for technical drawing... cos to handwriting the 0.3... sometimes is too weak to me cos I write in caps... the only problem... I didn't buy more erasers... and I can't find it here.. and the other brands have a different size... but its ok .. I not use it much.. silly me... well another reason to go back to Japan... to buy more stationary stuff... hehehe.. Regards!
@yoojboy22 күн бұрын
Yeah I think it’s best to get the erasers directly from Japan, you can probably find some on eBay.

Nice review! I’ve seen these on socials, but I can’t seem to find where to buy them. May I ask where you got yours? Also, $60 is a really good price for such a nice pencil.

Thanks for watching! The site for where I bought the pen is flamberg.base.shop/categories/5709173 they’re pretty popular, so you might have to wait for the next batch of wooden pens to come.

Kh ks engine is the 4th generation after 15 years. $80, no. $15, yes. The Advance is good enough, at least for me.

@jacoblunn29 after original, there was one. Uni never openly discuss this somehow.

I just received my SMASH after watching this review, and god do I love it. I got the 0.5mm and just ordered the 0.3mm for math class in 2B Ain Stein lead. It’s an absolute time capsule of 80s design and I was a bike mechanic a bit ago so the shock design up top reminds me of that experience. Overall, if I was a graphic designer/product designer I’d probably design something like this. Plus the grip is absolutely wonderful, 10/10. Probably the best 8$ I’ve ever spent!

I hate resellers. Thankfully, the LOFT edition isn’t really rare in Japan. Other colors are super rare though.

How does the Elite fit in the Kuro Toga line up?
@yoojboy2 ай бұрын
Probably between the standard and the metal. The metal offers more sound dampening and premium feel, and the standard is just a bare bones Kurutoga, so the elite is in the middle I think.

Both the KS and Metal are somewhat scarce here inter US atm (JetPens is perpetually backordered; no sign of them on Amazon), but as someone who uses a mechanical pencil for pretty much everything these days, it’s nevertheless a very interesting potential upgrade. That said, as someone who has owned and used a roulette and an advanced upgrade for years, I have to say, to me the idea of the Kuru Toga is more appealing than it’s actual use. In the end neither really ever dislodged my stalwart Pentel Sharp Kerry, which was my EDC for 15+ years. I somewhat recently started using a Tombow 505 Zoom for my basic needs and it more or less addresses all the shortcomings I ever had with the Kerry. I suppose the real Kuru I ought to be aiming for is the Dive, which is obviously a pretty fabulous pencil, but I‘m not exactly sold on a $80-100 mechanical pencil (yet.) The biggest selling point of the Kuru Toga line (its engine) is for the most part the one thing I care the least about Inna pencil. Hand-feel and general practicality matter more and thus the relatively plebeian Kerry and the slightly more upscale Tombow have suited my needs better over the years.

who else thinks staedler is underrated? ↓↓↓
@greekveteran2715Ай бұрын
Pilot mechanical pencils, like the S10, are way more underrated than Staedtler. Staedtler 925 sells like crazy, so I can see it closer to overrated, rather than underrated. Pilot S10 on the other hand, is a better pencil, more comfortable, more reliable, better quality, cheaper, yet it sells way less than Staedtler. Just an example.

I saw this at a local stationery shop and liked the overall build and writing experience. The downfall for me is its rubberized grip section; I swore off rubber grips due to them deteriorating over time. Good review none the less.

The quality of the video is great for such a small channel ! Just a small tip though: try lowering the volume of the background music it’s a bit to loud and can sometimes go over your voice. Other than that really good 👍 and I agree this mechanical pencil is simply awesome 🤩

So, with the metal front end and the extra grip, is this model supposed to bridge the gap between the P20X Sharp and GraphGear 300 lines?
@yoojboy10 ай бұрын
Probably not, the Smash is is a pen made for writing with the ability to draft. The GraphGear 300 (In Japan we call it the PG Metal 350, is made for drafting. I may be wrong.
