I agree with yourv review. It's a GOOD design. My current writing implement has a triangular shaped tube that gives me excellent handling and accuracy during long periods of writing. If you provide a model pen or pencil.with this accommodation I'd purchase it immediately and raise my rating to GREAT.

Kh ks engine is the 4th generation after 15 years. $80, no. $15, yes. The Advance is good enough, at least for me.

There's the original engine, the advance and KS, which one did I miss?
@Shanghai_Knife_Dude7 күн бұрын
@jacoblunn29 after original, there was one. Uni never openly discuss this somehow.

Both the KS and Metal are somewhat scarce here inter US atm (JetPens is perpetually backordered; no sign of them on Amazon), but as someone who uses a mechanical pencil for pretty much everything these days, it’s nevertheless a very interesting potential upgrade. That said, as someone who has owned and used a roulette and an advanced upgrade for years, I have to say, to me the idea of the Kuru Toga is more appealing than it’s actual use. In the end neither really ever dislodged my stalwart Pentel Sharp Kerry, which was my EDC for 15+ years. I somewhat recently started using a Tombow 505 Zoom for my basic needs and it more or less addresses all the shortcomings I ever had with the Kerry. I suppose the real Kuru I ought to be aiming for is the Dive, which is obviously a pretty fabulous pencil, but I‘m not exactly sold on a $80-100 mechanical pencil (yet.) The biggest selling point of the Kuru Toga line (its engine) is for the most part the one thing I care the least about Inna pencil. Hand-feel and general practicality matter more and thus the relatively plebeian Kerry and the slightly more upscale Tombow have suited my needs better over the years.

You don't care about the uneven lines? I guess if that's the case there's no point getting a KT

Both pencils are good, but I prefer the plastic one. The mechanism is the same, lighter, 3-4 times cheaper.

How about the Kuro Toga Roulette? How does it compare to the metal?
@yoojboy2 ай бұрын
The metal has more sound dampening but, it’s not quite far off.

How does the Elite fit in the Kuro Toga line up?
@yoojboy2 ай бұрын
Probably between the standard and the metal. The metal offers more sound dampening and premium feel, and the standard is just a bare bones Kurutoga, so the elite is in the middle I think.

Hello I have a quick question is it okay to retract the lead of this pencil when you are done writing?
@yoojboy2 ай бұрын
Yes, it is totally fine to do that.

No, the lead police will investigate you

Great releases good products but for 80$ I would prefer the Kuru Toga Dive. The plastic model on the other hand is superb since it integrated a perfect rubber grip! I will get one of those for sure.

I paid 3900¥ for my Kuru Toga Metal. That’s about $25 US.
