Oxy clean likes warm/hot water and time. I put my badly stained clothes in a bucket of water and oxyclean for at least a day. If I’m not worried about additional shrinkage, I’ll do hot water. Then I’ll pull them out and put them in the washer on normal. I’ve had a good success rate with that methodology. I’ve done a week in the bucket and gotten really bad stains out.

I own a grey one and love it but they are not cheap. I do not wear the jacket as much as i would like worried it would get damaged.

I bought a couple of them, unfortunately none fit me, to small for me. Great jacket if you get the right size. I also own a Filson wax jacket that I adore but I do not use it as much as I like due to price, worry it will get damaged.

Also have that shirt that i picked up on the secondary market basicaly brand new for way too good of a price. Dont get me wrong, lovely shirt, sturdy, high quality + construction as always with ih, but ima have to sell it. Doesnt soften up at all over time and just feels restricting to me. I dont dislike moleskin tho, had a parka before that was more forgiving. ihs Kersey shirt is so much softer and bendable, serge shirt is also too rigid imo. need to try out the uhfs. First, I really liked your vide, it was funny and informative, and I do share your concerns about the kind of "homage" payied by Chinese brands. However, I don't see why it's fine to buy the Model III but it isn't fine to buy the Short Cruiser jacket. It's a design over a 100 years old and they (Red Tornado) do tell from whom they're drowing the design. That said, hows the jacket holding up till now? Do you still like it? Have you chanded your opinion about anything on the jacket?

I believe you’re gunna get some real electric blue fades. They have be getting really good now. I picked out two pairs this year and will wear my iron hearts in Black Black on mon wen fri and tues and thur along with weekends will wear my iron heart 555 indigo. I also picked up your pair to be an alternative but in indigo. Live at beach but am pushing through this summer wears jeans everyday for at least half of each day. You’re the man and will follow your ch. other dude to check out is STICKS BE GROWING. check his fades. Their insane.

i have both the tricotine shirt and the same ultra heavy weight flannel they quickly became some of my favorite shirts will be adding more ues to my wardrobe thats for sure

I have the same jacket from Ali for 36 Euros. To get rid of the heavy folds from shipping, I ironed it. It became totally smooth and the whitish creases disappeared. Of course these will be back when wearing but it least they're your own creases.

I'm a fan of tonal stitching and double indigo types myself, I'm focusing on two pairs for myself this year (even though it's almost July) which are my TSG 5105 and Tanuki 101IDs but I think I'll enter next year with a fresh pair from a different brand.

First entry for me was Naked & Famous and I got them at the Bay in downtown Vancouver, I didn't know anything about sizing, fits or fades but got two pairs and then quickly learned about Brave Star and ordered far too many jeans that didn't fit me properly because I didn't know my measurements properly which resulted in a lot of donations and giving away. That was 1.5 years or so ago and since then I've learned my lessons well and can say I've moved onto a lot of great brands that I enjoy like Samurai, Oni, Kato (I only own one pair and they are stretch and pre-faded) Momotaro, Iron Heart, Gustin (I decided to try one of their jeans in an interesting fabric/colour) The Strike Gold and Tanuki.

Happy to see another local making a video about one of my favorite brands as well! I own long sleeves, shirts and hoodie from UES and love their stuff. Keep up the good work

It seems as though it’s prone to lint esq pieces clinging and piling of some sort which is a problem for myself personally as I loose my ish over clothes that are prone to this unfortunately.

im on day 151 (0 wash, 0 soak) on a pair of RGT SK 16.75 slubs and this is first indigo pair I purchased. Im stoked to see fades already and whats coming from everyday wear. Keep doing your thing man! They look sick so far!

Great video. I was looking at red tornado few times and i felt uncomfortable with some of the homages that go to close. There is one model that looks extremely interesting and creative that i newer saw before called fbc-0001 unfortunately only available in one fabric 14oz. I would love to know did they knock someone off or was it actually the original design. If it was it seems to be excellent mix of histric and modern elements on Bronson level of creative but standard but from completely different angle

I absolutely love moleskin fabric. I first got into it with Filson layering. I am excited to try the Iron Heart CPO.

I like iron heart buy struggle kn sizing. I've had more luck with UES for shirts. As for moleskin, inreally like it, I have an indigoferra one from a couple of seasons ago that is great

In Australia, we have a footy team that uses brown and yellow as their colours. I always disliked them for that reason. They are sometimes jokingly referred to as wee and poo.

if u start with a quick bath tub soak laid flat for 20 mins with warm water. u lose some starch and a little indigo making them not as stiff but stiff enough and u don't get as much dye everywhere in the house. i do it for all my raw denim has never failed me. keep in mind if unsaforized they will shrink 2-3 inches in legth and 0.5 inch in the waist.
