i prefer adding 1 fish tuner lvl 3 so we can using that and coelacanth to synchro lvl 10 easily (could be chengying or Aegirine) and without wasted the coelacanth lvl 7 body.

I still think most of the times making a lancea instead of dragite is better, 2 floodgates + a trishula is just so good and if you drew a lv4 extender you can just make baha/toad so you don’t even miss the negate as much. Also something I almost never see is using the effect of psiics to get an extender that isn’t keaf The extra deck does feel tight but it is doable, thinking of cutting porpoise only came in clutch once I’d rather have another link such as abyss keeper/dweller

Honestly ever since Tenpai came out in the TCG and I gave the cards a proper read, I've been making Kragen against them instead of Bubblereaf. It means I've never been forced to blow Askaan early to hit the field spell. I just nod at them.

Instead of summoning dragite you can try to synchro lancea, same combo just revive sunfish instead of sardine, it ends on 2 floodgates 1 trishula. Also if you are on the tcg swap 2 cards for bahamut and toad, again same combo plus 1 extender gives you an Omni :3
