Drytron got a new boss monster powered up with Ursarctic tech, hopefully the Ursarctic can get a new LV7 as well, powered up with Drytron tech

The new lvl 1 Drystron Nu2 actually helps Ursarctics too. It gives us a 1 card combo to search Ursatron Alpha, to then search Radiation.

at 3:20 you used the big dipper effect to aummon megapolar but I would suggest not doing so because then you have to tribute an on field monster for Chariots effect.

Grand Charriot tributes from either field/hand, so I would not be hurting my card advantage from using Big Dipper to summon Megapolar. Also, in this board state, it's actually better if I tribute a monster on the field with Grand Charriot, because if I tribute Miktanus, I will have space on the field to special summon Megatanus from the hand and for the field spell to steal a monster.

Synchro twice? I'm very proud of myself after I synchro 3 times with Polar Star. . I like Ursa PUNK, easy access to synchro 10, search big monster for tribute, and E-Tele isn't OPT.

Field Spell : Ursarctic Big Dipper's effect " Once per turn, if your "Ursarctic" monster would Tribute a monster(s) to activate its effect, you can banish 1 Level 7 or higher "Ursarctic" monster from your GY instead. "

So because Big Dipper says “instead”, the polar star gets to stay on field instead of being tributed is the interaction? And I assume that the grand chariot that came out after did not have polar stars effect? Sorry trying to understand. Thank you!

@@karmakillz4051 Correct, Big Dipper's "INSTEAD" effect is pretty neat. Notice that it only needs one monster despite Polar Star requirement stated it needs to tribute two, 1 lv 8 Ursarctic AND this card. Polar Star's effect stated " .....If you do, "IT" gains this effect. : ". So I assume both gains the skill drain effect.

@@josephlanning6409 Coming from MTG, wording on cards in YGO has been the toughest part so far. Soft OPT, Hard OPT's were mindblowing when I find them out. Magic's wording is very precise. I appreciate you going out of your way to explain!

@@karmakillz4051 I also learn by discussing things like this. Before MD, I never played outside of limited old-school format. So it really pissed me off when they added the effect highlight because it should be implemented right at launch.

Ursarctic guide is pretty based. How good is tidal here?

Tidal has 2 important effects, dumping and extending.. As an extender, it can be useful, it's a free lvl 7 body on the board. There are other ways to do that, like Kashtiras. As a dumper, I can't think of anything important that Tidal could send to the GY that can start a combo. So in Ursarctics, it's not the best card.

You need a synchro diva in extra, because you don t use synchro overload.. correct?

What is synchro overload? You need Deep Sea Repetiteur in the extra-deck for Synchro Overtake to work. Does this answer your question?
