We normally wear helmets, but forgot them at home this day. We didn’t want to drive 2 hours rounds trip to get them so we just took it easy and learned toe side 👍.

Please get a helmet especially if you’re learning nobody’s gonna make fun of you for it I’ve watched experienced boarders catch an edge and hit the ground so hard they literally knock themselves out it can happen to anyone especially beginners when you start to build a little more confidence

In tropical places, you can’t drink tap all the time because of storms. One just happened yesterday and now you have to be careful drinking tap for the next few days

Luxury taxes and resort fees are different. Generally speaking, resort fees are imposed by the hotels and they keep it. It’s a way for them to advertise a low per night rate for the room but at the end hit a big fee to raise the price. Luxury tax is a general term that places with high tourism charge in order to generate tax revenue from travelers. For instance, a lot of tourist areas in California have a much higher sales tax, so catch tourists. Or, they do impose a luxury tax on hotels.

As a fellow snowboard coach I think it’s easier and betting to explain it to beginners as them shifting their weight over their front foot to point down the mountain then maintain a stacked position over both feet to be ready and mobile position to make any turn. shifting your weight onto your front foot is the basics of a good turn.

300 hour killing zone - in my day in the early 60's in Australia, we thought it was around 100 hours. The biggest lesson I learnt in 35 years of flying is that over confidence will kill you as a few friends of mine found out (and in other things in life I was involved in). A career in aviation involves perseverance, skill & lots of luck as aviation is a boom or bust career. As a side note I in GA & Airlines trained for emergencies that I never ended up having - I had a few & none covered what we had trained for so situation awareness, & knowledge of systems are very important -Juan said it.

🌴🌴🌴 I wish i had a friend like you when I first learned to ski. I didn’t know ANYTHING about skiing. They put the skis on my feet and shoved me on the lift. On the way up I was asking all kinds of questions about how and what I should do. And of course they took me on an advanced level. I completely crashed as soon as I tried my best to get off the lift. Then they started to teach me the basics like how to slow down, how to turn and how to stop. I pretty much had the most horrific time in my life just getting to the bottom. I didn’t have the right clothing, Gloves and so forth. And that’s why I’ve never tried again 😢. Just sharing….. Blessings,Carlos ✝️🙏❤️😊🇺🇸

I try my hardest to make sure people can have the best experience they can when they try something new, so they don't get turned off to it in the future. At the same time, tough learning can mean a lot also, but it depends on the person, their natural athleticism, willingness, and age/health.

Food trays for fwd... Watch rally. Left foot braking neutral balance alignment setting. Rear antiroll bar if you can afford it, DO NOT get stuff sport springs, learn to use the soft suspension which helps get the weight moved. Think trophy trucks, very soft , lots of flex, massive transfer. Learn to control it and rate of movement. Just had se snow last week, no understeer. You are using a braking type drift but are sliding. With good angle mud and dirt practice is great. Don't need the e-brake to rotate.
