This looks slick. I want to try this from ai-yotsu instead with a cross body Osoto Gari. Would that work, or does Ippon Seoi Nage and Osoto off the Ippon Seoi Nage work better?

another wonderful video; thank you! I hope very much that the wrist injury heals quickly. Also i think one off the opposing players may have hit his head hard on the mat. I hope everyone recovers quickly and comfortably. I myself have had too many concussions and will probably quit randori if I ever get another. respect and love to all judoka!

Hi fluid judo, i really enjoy learning about judo theory and thought about the uchikomi way of doing uchimata like hane goshi squaring up but uchimata competition reaps the outer thigh completely different from uchikomi. Any chance we can get an in-depth video explaining it from a Japanese judoka perspective ?

Can we get more videos on combinations/setups or even concept videos about "fluidity in judo" watcing a lot of my clubmates being stiff and muscling people around for throws doesn't look the most appealing aesthetically over clean techniques.

I think in the first fight, the young guy made a very risky (some might say a stupid) move against the much bigger veteran. So it is no surprise that he is countered massively.

You use the leg to bounce the opponent, driving into opponent with the leg. But that is too much for a Te-Waza. The focus should be on how the Tsurite and Hikite set up and then finish the throw. @2:32 and @3:25 you had this right! But your techniques, as too often demonstrated, is actually an Ashi-Waza. This technique might well be very effective in Randori, and I like it a lot - but it is not classical Tai-Otoshi, which should not actually require the leg contact (although in reality, and in competition, often does) at all. See Neil Adams - kzbin.info/www/bejne/goKrepKjj7SCoNU
