thank you again, great videos ! but i had a question, why didn't you go all the way with sketching the path for the whole frame except for the bottom part ? why made extrusion for the other side ?

@arkiteasy because I don't want to live as a hostage of paying obscene amounts monthly to something I need to provide to my family. You don't ask a carpenter to rent his hammer, a painter to rent his brush, yet you are OK to Autodesk charging the annual income of an average Brazilian family for renting their tool , wich is a monopoly in their market and within the excuse of constant improvements and yet delivering no real improvements or changes and additions that we do not asked or wanted. We are hostage to paying Autodesk/Graphisot FOREVER just so we could keep working... You will own nothing, not be happy and be a slave for them.

I think it would be better to create a line based family with voids, then create the ceiling with the edges constrained to the walls. Place the line based family directly on the ceiling edges (this way, the heights of both will always be the same without needing a global parameter). The only extra step would be to use the cut tool to generate the void in the ceiling. Cons: Voids slow down Revit's performance.

Greetings, may I kindly request your guidance and a tutorial on completing a Revit project that combines structural and architectural elements according to industry standards? Perhaps you could demonstrate with a simple, small project that starts from the foundation and structure, and finishes with the architectural details. Thank you in advance!

Hi, thanks for suggestion. Something of what you mentioned will be done in some period 😊 But, even though I am an architect I don’t think that architects should be responsible for almost everything on a building like it’s case in some countries. Actually, disciplines/responsibilities are splited but have to be done in accordance.

@arkiteasy26 күн бұрын
I'm not sure what do you mean exactly but you can add RGB values manually for example. Also, from Revit 2024 you have way more Pantone and RAL color palettes inside
@igorvolkov405626 күн бұрын
@@arkiteasy color like in Autocad, Autocad has many suhc colors which have only one number from 1 to 99
@arkiteasy26 күн бұрын
Colours in Revit and AutoCad works pretty similar but they are not the same. “Index Color” in AutoCad is similar to “Basic Color” in Revit, while in Revit there are no numbers for a colours but there is possibility to add color values, which in AutoCad is possible if you go to “True Color” tab. “Color Books” works the same way and color palettes are quite similar
