For the pro scouts, ive played a bit and i think proscots are really strong, if I dont go super agressive i make pro scouts, and its worth it. Stealing the enemy deer, especailly vs civs who im supposed to deny food like china and french. Its really strong. But for myself if i go agressive i wanna pump knights, and when i have gold floating i get it. And make 3-5 scouts. If im agressive i just take my vills to farm, maybe tower if I want some kind of map controll. Or I go tower on boar first, then after boar and sheep is done, i save money for pro scouts and bring the deers home. Lipera needed some help with that long chop 😂😂 I just wanted to make some chaos hahah. By the way, we tried to play vs you guys yesterday! I am very much not looking forward to the new mangudai...Elephants seem like the only counter now is crossbow. Fast castle elephants could be a problem.

On the one hand, I can't wait to try out the new Khan's hunters, on the other hand, I'm afraid the meta will shift to what used to be my shtick 😅

@@ktroth07 I saw you hold on very long in the recent cast where you were Rus, Schlangbangg was OOTD, and Aggro was Japanese.

He wanted to quit so bad though. we have to yell at each other to not surrender early.

@@Aggrocrag24 Back in my AOE2 days I sometimes quit too early, and then regretted it because MrPantalon still had an ace up his sleeve. Now I always consult the others when the urge to surrender hits me. And I see it as training in trying to salvage what's left.

Ive heard Mangudais are pretty bad units. But maybe its only in 1v1

​@@ActionRanThey have little ranged armor, so always do the ranged armor upgrade, and micro them well (my micro was kinda shit near the Delhi base, but I killed quite a lot of his vills). Later I add Keshiks to tank. I keep Keshiks/Horsemen in Ctrl group 1 and Khan + Mangudai in Ctrl group 2.

I asked 1 time in aoe4 discord how to beat mangudai. And they all laughed at me lmao. Saying you dont need to beat them cause nobody builds them. Then they told me any ranged units counter them easy. I did that next time i was playing vs mongol with mangudai and they died pretty easy. But! In team games and 4v4 i have no idea

@@ActionRan They indeed die to ranged pretty easily. When that ZhugeNu group came into my base I switched to Keshiks (shoulda done so earlier, but I was still raiding in the yellow and blue base). Mangudai are also easily countered by pallisades. (That's where the Keshiks come in handy.)

I went 2 scouts so I could go behind my base with the second one. One step ahead of the game.

I have been losing a lot lately so I have to go back to HRE again, by far my best civ.

When I play these games it feels like I am making 100 decisions at once, everything is going so fast. Then I watch it back and I scream at the screen, "what could you possibly be doing right now!!! do something!!!"

@@Aggrocrag24 haha yeah, me too! 🤣🤣 When i watch my replays to see why I lost I facepalm a lot. Atm, i belove scouting and then counter build units would win me more games, *following Blidge1s strategy vs every civ does really help a lot though* and also, just have 2-3 knights raiding, even if I get attacked, but Im getting better at trying to rember that haha

upgrading +1 melee dmg isnt that great and the gold could be spent better. it will take your knights from 19dmg to 20. which is like 5% same for the melee defense (unless you fight onna bugeisha with high attackspeed, then its a good idea). horse got 190 health. its not that good, and having the gold in age 3 for upgrading horse HP is way better. but i suggest that you upgrade the +1 arrow defense first always, so you can dive under tc more also archers in age2 are strong and +1 ranged defense is very nice =). and then the eco upgrades. This is what ive learned from some guides anyways haha. let me know what you think

@@rfmvoers I had nothing to do so I looked at the game, and it was HILLARIOUS! They best thing was, the other team managed to keep our buddies in their base with their pressure, if they didnt. They would insta lose cause Aggro had a big army, he over-estimated blue and had to help out the attacks on KTroth. But the antagonists base was so weak to raids. It was all over the place. Blue was the funniest, but Orange as well xD The antagonists really should had attacked Japanese first, and fast. I believe that attacking the middle player is usually a bad idea, cause mid gets reinforcements from both sides. Attack a side player makes it take longer for getting reinforcements. teal made mostly longbows while kroth and agrro made knights. So that was pretty dumb by the teal. blue farmed 1260 stone in age 2 lmao 14 minutes in. and have still 4 vils LONG MINING stone hahahaha I heard aggro say, french going 2 tc xD little did he know hes farming stone for the fun of it hahaha 4 on food, and 17 on gold. and barley no food. not producing from stables but makes more stables lmao. 17 minutes in orange and teal makes units weak to knights (MMA and archers) teal made some xbows tho. like 9. and blue sent in all his horses into spears on the gold lmao 32:00 Blue was hilarious, looking for a way in with his horses scouting the stone wall xD Orange had a 8 square farm dead right in the middle of the map unprotected lmao. and getting the big gold with no defence there lmaoo!! 40:24 Aggro finds this 40 miuntes into the game. JACKPOT! Orange 35 miuntes in have Burgrave which he produces MMA from and 2x Seige workshop. This is his military production 😂😂 Its amazing this guy is platinum in 1v1s and has been diamond. Blue: After about 20 minutes into the game. blue stops making villagers more or less. For the rest of the game i think he made like 10-12 vills. He had good production of knights tho, 8 stables i think. Farms 2 stone nodes in Feudal. And stays 1TC lmao. Builds Stonewall, but farms gold outside it with no gate, so if they needed to run to saftey, they had to run around the whole base to get in = they're dead meat if raided xD Runs all his horses into Aggros spears. Teal: more or less only made units from his Council Hall and the Whitetower ( a mix between archers and crossbows). He had 4 barracks that he didnt produce much from, barley anything xD Kept making units from those 2 landmarks tho, made pretty good pressure. But made bad units vs armored units that our friends made. Orange: . ex-diamond player. made units from his signle landmark and spammed mangonels from 3-4 seige factories xD. places farm in the middle of the map.

Twas a miserable game. And very disappointing when schlangbang couldn’t save me after I saved him with Aggro 😢

Sometimes you gotta be the, what we call in my team "kreukelzone". That's Dutch for the part of a car that gets dented in a collision and dissipates the energy. "Crumple zone" is the English term according to Wikipedia. A good kreukelzone doesn't give up, but tries to save or reboot his eco, delay the enemy or perhaps even counter raid with the few troops he has left; you were a good kreukelzone!
