This was a _great_ episode. I don't remember ever having seen it before. Another good one that dealt with the Vietnam W*r is Nightcrawlers. This might be somewhat off-topic but it's hard to believe some teenage boys or young men voluntarily enlisted to fight in different wars, knowing how likely it was that they'd be k*lled or permanently disfigured or injured in some way. You wonder what motivates them, it's surreal that that happens because I can't imagine how terrified they must have been and still being prepared to sacrifice the rest of your life at such a young age. Some people criticize fantasy (which is what I'll take this as) for lazily attributing every thing to magic but for me, the lack of a rigorous scientific explanation as to why this happened and not focusing on the how made it more emotionally impactful.

This really captures the essence of the 80s, a Time that'll Forever remain with me through Heart & Soul. Im so blessed to have grown up in an era I feel so Homesick for in this blaned Day and Age of today. Please 🙏 send me back to my Childhood once more 😔 Thank you too, Wes Craven, we'll never Forget you too 😢 1939 - 2015 🙏👑🪽🕊

The finer point to in this is making peace with your choices. In a similar scope, the "All in the Family" episode about the draft dodger and this.....I tear up at both.

I recognize Larry King and Bob Uecker doing the Buffalo and Colorado videos. And I've heard the narrator of the Orlando video in a few promos for Tribune-owned stations. Who's doing the South Florida, Tampa Bay, and Washington DC ones?
@jasonrfoss2482 күн бұрын
South Florida was Bob Griese and I’m pretty sure the Tampa Bay video was narrated by Pat Summerall.

Winfield, and any player that charges the pitcher with a bat in his hand, should be immediately ejected and suspended. End of debate.

Whether this episode was a Twilight Zone POV or not, it teaches you the hardest lessons possible, on acting overconfident about signing for a new credit or banking card (in which she didn’t even read or ask any questions about it), as well as keeping up with paying for your statements and such, on time, in order to have a good credit score. If that doesn’t happen, you might just end up like Linda Wolfe/Wilson.
