I shared a video using the January card kit by @simonsaysstamp and I just had to use up the yeti and some scraps. For a mixed media look and feel I did stenciling at the background with paste. I also added cheese cloth for extra texture

Might I make a suggestion? I am an award-winning and published coloured pencil artist, specialising in photorealism and hyperrealism. I am also an astrophysicist and mathematician. If you want more realistic shadows, be sure to use a hue for your shadows that is exactly opposite your main hue that is taking the shadows on the colour wheel. For instance, if you want shadows on Santa's red suit, then you will need to use a green for the shadows. Red mathematically cancels the colour green, giving you the perfect hue for realistic shadows. The red eye algorithm on your digital camera works exactly the same way, using a green to mathematically cancel the red from the eye. If realism isn't what you want, but you still want shadows, then keep in mind that using a darker hue of the main colour will only deepen that main colour. It won't really give you true shadows, as we saw in this video. When Vicky used a blue pen for shadows on a blue leaf, it only deepened the blue, it didn't give it true shadows.
