Another game that did muzzle dispersion was, oddly enough, Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. When you reloaded your muzzle would be flipped up and if you were in a panic and pulled the trigger too soon the shot would go into the ceiling.

the guidance system of the NLAW is rather ingenious in its simplicity, since it's fire-and-forget while not actually tracking the target itself during flight in any way. the operator uses the launcher to track the target for a few seconds and this allows the launcher to predict where to intercept the target. this is somewhat similar to the way fire control systems of modern tanks calculate lead automatically for moving targets. after launch the missile flies this interception course towards the target and detonates over the target using a proximity fuze or alternatively it detonates on a direct hit.

Fallout 3 is the MOST FALLOUT GAME OF THEM ALL (Excluding 1 & 2) you live life and start off as a vault dweller, you then escape the vault into one of or if not the most dangerous city in America (Capital Wasteland) you encounter every OP enemy (Enclave, Talon Company, Super Mutants with special FEV, Behemoths, Deathclaws) even including darker humor and atmosphere compared to the rest of the Fallout games… Raiders display gore everywhere to intimidate and to show off, being one of the biggest threats while acting like psychopathic savages on chems, Raiders make Gunners and Fiends look like Messiahs, you can also side with essentially the best BoS chapter (Even though they’re at their weakest point in game) and you have THREE DOG. New Vegas has a great story but doesn’t feel like a Fallout game all the way through. Definitely not better but can be argued that it’s just as good.

Heat builds up exactly the same speed be it on hot or cold map. It dissipates faster or slower though.

For the heat-based laser weapons, I have heard that if you let them cool down, the heatsinks will degrade over time and heat up faster, making it pretty much necessary to replace it after a few times of reaching a high heat level with that particular heatsink. Awesome if true

Something I find neat about the laser weapons is that they auto eject their "mags" at full heat. This makes it faster to overheat and then reload compared to traditional firearms where you ideally reload on the last round.
