Looks like a co op third person shooter with a turok skin slapped on it... can these studio not take a page out of Id Softwares book and do a reboot like Doom 2016? Is it really that hard for them to understand? I mean seriously at what point do they learn...

It does. Like if those are the main characters, it would feel like they will go a 'custom character' route or multiplayer route with not much of a story focus like the original 3 (and Evolution). Closest may be like Turok Rage Wars, i think that was all multiplayer and no story.

Turok needs to be taken back to its roots give us a fast paced first person shooter with dinosaurs, raiders, lizard people and cool bosses that prioritizes exploration in the lost world with dense foggy jungles and cities lost to time. We need a doom 2016 or wolfenstein type reboot not whatever this is

When I saw this in my subscriptions, I was excited. "Turok 2 " and "Turok: Evolution" were bona fied classics. The opening cinematic looked promising, but the gameplay, to be honest, is a real turn off. I guess props to them for wanting to go in a different direction, but its just not the same if its not an FPS game. :(

I wanted to play the game until I see that it is destroyed base of the game and using the 3rd person. When the other games were all first-person shooter. It looks like horizon hero down, it would have been better to change the name of the game rather than destroy the liscence.

I played Turok as a child on Nintendo 64 lol. Still, of all the Franchises that deserve a revival, Turok is not among them. I can´t imagine there is a fanbase for that or the gameplay is innovative enough to captivate us again
