Question for Lilja Björk Pétursdóttir regarding finding gold in an Icelandic lava flow - My question pertains to a photograph of yours that showed a gold colored feature in a rock. Your photo was presented in this KZbin: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q6HRg52lgdlqq80 . At approximately two thirds into this video, from the KZbin channel "SalivateMetal", your name appeared at the bottom of the photo. SalivateMetal said the photo was from another video from another KZbin channel called "GeologyHub", but I could not find the GeologyHub video that was being referred to. So my question is this - Has your photo been misrepresented by SalivateMetal? In a funny twist, I posted a question to the Reykjavik Grapevine KZbin channel asking if they heard about gold in Icelandic lava and they answered in their Sept. 23'rd Q&A KZbin broadcast that they had not heard of any gold being found in Icelandic lava. When I asked my question to them, I theorized that my information source was "click bait" (they agreed). Upon re-watching my source I noticed your name on the photo credit. What is this yellow color in the rock, gold, sulfur, is it a volcanic rock? Thanks for taking the time to answer my question!
