My PC specs are in the video description. It's more than sufficient for gaming, however sometimes for encoding the video while recording higher graphics stuff, it is just enough.

Wished the planes in the microsoft flight simulator were more like this and not overly jittery. Takes extra refinemed 5x fold to refuel in the mcfs,especially the f22 raptor , 1 nanometer move on the stick=input setting you off course. However, having the whole world as a map and the graphics beats DCS completely. Took me 3 hours of trying to reliably refuel the b2,f22,f35 if the tanker is on a turning circle course,gotta jerk the flying stick like a madman constantly. The b2 is the easiest since its very stable and requires more input to move. If only the AP controls had a precise option like attitude hold or a very precise speed plus heading hold , like 00.1+ degrees ,0.5 knots precise while still alowing the stick and throtle imputs ,auto holding the new imputs , leaving you effectively floating still under the tanker the refueling will be extremely easy. I had some experience refueling the f15E in dcs and the mcfs fighter plane physics is a nightmare, more jittery than a leaf in a turbulent wind. The bigger planes however like the b2 feel nice and just float realistically. Anything new on the issue with the F15E by Razbam in DCS? I stoped playing just before the developer dropped support and the scandal escalated, but I have like 400-450 hours on the F15E and know it extremely well , almost zero hours on any other plane in DCS? Is it worth returning to the Razbam module if it can cease working any month now when dcs updates?
@BingoFuel0717 күн бұрын
I agree, the handling in MSFS is inferior to the handling in DCS. I love the F-15E aswell and it's sad that it wont be further developed, however I'm fairly sure Razbam will further provide updates to keep it alive in newer versions of the game. I would really have loved to see the new WSO AI.
@FISSIONINITIATEDSUNRISE17 күн бұрын
@BingoFuel07 Really sad,it had so much potential. I could literally play for hours with the ground radar, creating aperture pictures at high resolutions.
@FISSIONINITIATEDSUNRISE17 күн бұрын
@BingoFuel07 Also , in the mcfs , the topmach studius produced a very realistic b2 model, its still in its early releases but the features are about to expand , indiafoxtecho on the other hand figured out how to make a separate working program/module for the radars and now they included it in a big f35 mission systems update. The radar can display many more points more dynamically and you can individually scan/set all the radar volumes etc... Its quite the sight with the flight show assistant, doing super low air refuels with like 3 B2 and few f35s and f22s over a snowy kola peninsula while the sun descents beneath the horizon, simulating nuclear delivery and fighter jet escort to Murmansk/Archangelsk or going over the Caspian sea and West Kazakhstan towards the Saratov Engels air base and Sarov + Arzamas16 in the Nizhny Novogorod region.

What makes me most intrigued if the avionics of each aircraft in Flight Simulator. A digital twin of the actual avionics operating system in the game?
@Kilanov8 күн бұрын
For some aircraft, it is the case. Software bugs on the real plane have been observed in the sim. In cases like this, the plane is a mod made by civilians and is likely only accurate on a visual level, the flight dynamics, software etc won't be anything like a real F35
@Jinx1976622 күн бұрын
Realistic? Did they release information on the flight characteristics and performance?
@BingoFuel0722 күн бұрын
The „realistic“ refers to the STOVL carrier ops, not the plane. Afaik there is not an official release of flight characteristics and performance.

I am still learning, what would you say is the key..or the keys..to that smoothness in Landings and Air Refulling?
@BingoFuel0727 күн бұрын
I would say that understanding the principle of PIO (pilot induced oscillation) is a key point. A good beginner rule is to estimate the amount of input needed, then cut that by 50% in order to avoid overcorrecting. That is what helped me the most.
