I do not find my band accurate on a treadmill. It's off by .75 miles on a two mile walk. I cannot figure out why. BP measures well.

Most smart watches are not going to read the same when using a treadmill. I have the GARMIN 965 and paces, distance are never the same. Probably due to the GPS not being able to pick you up indoors.

I assume its calculates distance by an average step/stride distance formula and not your actual step distance. People with longer than average legs/stride will probably show a shorter distance than someone with shorter than average legs/stride.

@@406.dabber8 I would absolutely try to, I'm curious as to how accurate my "smart watch" is... but I cant run on a treadmill. I can spend 1 1/2 hours on an elliptical at 70- rpm... Run 8 miles on a track with sub 7 minute miles... but running and walking on a treadmill fuck me up. Its almost like I get vertigo.

If you need the gps, then you need the phone. If, not, you do not need it. You just choose the workout "outside running" and it will do its job. Good luck!

like @marcemarce9658 said, you can still do your stuff without the phone, and when you connect to it again it will sync the data it gathered, however, you won't be able to track gps data and that could cause a bit of imprecision

Hey, in the zepp apply go to watch faces and choose the ones that are written in chinese and you can set custom watch faces!
