So it’s pretty cool your family grew up in the auto body business. I was wondering if you would ever speak about why you guys are all split up and not all working together. maybe you could tell your story

Mark, please stop saying you get too much time for a repair or they will reduce the times allowed because most body tech's are not as efficient as you.

Hey man, I have a recommendation should do a video of a toolbox tour, basic tools. You need for this job as a apprentice. Been working at a unregistered shop while in high school for three years. And wanting to start buying my tools to work at a shop. And maybe another video of talking. How to get in this industry.

(I see Paul has left your dad’s shop now) - so are you maybe getting any more paint jobs from Yuri because of that?
@philtucker12243 күн бұрын
Hi Mark, do you still get occasional jobs coming through from Yuri or Ben sometimes?
@philtucker12243 күн бұрын
Mark having a very experienced sharp eye as you do, makes the difference between profit and loss with regard to the insurance report and amount claimed. You have that skill in bucket loads as you have grown up in this business all of your life. You will NEVER need to undersell yourself. 👌🙏

This is a prime example of experience and proper tools making this go much smoother and efficiently. A body tech should not be punished for being fast and quality based on repairs or procedures. If I tell you 550 dollars to fix your car, it shouldn’t matter how long it took as long as it’s correct. I guarantee his first repair did not go as fast and smooth as this one did. Great job per usual Marc! Sincerely, your trusted equipment distributor!

$60 x 22 = $1320. ??? How did you come out with $550?
@Motorheadco4 күн бұрын
@@erikthie2253 I earned 550 in 8 hours, that’s 60 per hour
@erikthie22534 күн бұрын
@@Motorheadco Well, kind of $60, actually $68.75 if you do the math, i get it, around $60. But what does the 22 hours have to do with the equation? You said you charged 22 hours. Is that the shops money then? Just trying to understand you logic.
@Motorheadco3 күн бұрын
@@erikthie2253no u work commission. The insuarance pays a certain amount of hours for repairs. So if I get it done quicker then I still get those hours
