The uniform is Indicative of the culture and philosophy she comes from . Plz look up Greek and early Roman cultures philosophy : . that the beautiful/fit body signified the human divinity shining thru . Beauty in body also signified a great( smart) healthy mind ( today we think opposite many times). Also the Amazon’s would not have our sexual hang ups. Also she doesn’t get cold etc and she’s invulnerable . So form follows function. She’s is meant to inspire but modern society ( not all) quickly reduces to the sexual. I would ask h to look at this subject from her culture. Plz look at Greek philosophy.

You're responding to people that misuses the word "filler", aren't you? Because no one would agree that a scene is filler if it has character development. BTW, best episode of Naruto is a filler episode.

I mean, yeah, one of the first things I do in the video is define filler, to explain how people use it wrong and then spend the rest of the video explaining how people don't really hate filler. Which episode of Naruto do you think is the best?

Weirdest detail are his friends, this Bruce has a group of friends since he was a child, and all are counterparts of his rouge gallery. Wailow(killer croock) ,Harvey(two face) , Selina, Ozzie(the penguin) and Edward (the riddler). I'm curious in what way they're gonna go with them, as they appears to not be yet criminals. The ones the ones that stand up are Ozzie(what Bruce mention he is doing troublesome business) and Selina(who look like it's the one that distatiate more form the group)

I just read it and I gotta say, it has potential, if nothing else. It's not necessarily the Witchblade I think many fans will be expecting - largely because there's no great deal of fan service in the artwork; it's pretty subdued in that regard, sadly. That said, I don't think it'll be anywhere near as divisive as the 2017 reboot was. It seems like Top Cow is trying to have it both ways; pleasing older fans while still being accessible - or at least inoffensive - to the woke mob.

You nailed it with your description, the thing that I miss the most is the fun 90s feel that the comic had, it was sexy, Sarah was very likeable, and the art was outstanding. I'll give a few issues to see if this series will go in a direction that I like, and if not I'm happy rereading the OG.

@@Pdrodigital Totally fair. I'm much more of a Darkness fan than I am Witchblade. I only read Witchblade because of its connection to the Darkness and it drew me in largely because of the T&A, like most readers. As for Sara herself, she's always struck me as the tough girl cliche; like T2 Linda Hamilton but with more snark and less PTSD. The live action show ran with that and it really brought it down for me, as if that show wasn't underwhelming enough. It'll be interesting to see how this Sara develops, for better or worse. Overall I think Top Cow have learned their lesson from 2017 and are course correcting but, like I said, they're trying to please everyone.

@@MatthewJBarnetteOO7 In my case I'm much more of a witchblade fan, having read only the first darkness story arc, which I loved. That's other title that I'm curious on how they will handle it, it seems to me that darkness don't work if they don't go all the way on the 90s edge. Well, being one of Marc's favorites I hope he does the relaunch justice. It was nice reading your opinion on the matter, thanks man.

"they would just be a character with superpowers, that at best does good things to help some people, or at worst a terrible person pretending to be or mistakingly believing themselves to be a good person." that's what super hero's are honey. with the addition that it's popular and permanent to maintain the deception so they can never feel the shame of being wrong and the victims have to feel shamed for being permanent outcasts instead.

I'm here watching a bunch of vids on the return of Marvel vs Capcom on modern consoles. And all I'm saying is that DC vs SNK would probably be the best one, and I think they should start with a Teen Titans game like Xmen: Children of the Atom went for Marvel.

Good review 👍 I disagree. This is an Avengers comic. It is a update on the early Silver Age Avengers comics with a more edgy approach and modern science fiction concepts. Even the leadership of the team is a call back to early Avengers. The original Avengers were under co-leadership with Thor and Iron Man. Even after Captain America joined. Cap didn't lead until the roster change when Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch joined. Thor had to be taken out by Captain Britain in this modern version because he is just too powerful and obviously Deniz Camp and Jonathan Hickman want to make things tough for this new team (Thor defeated Kang in Avengers #8). So Reed/Doom is a less powerful co-leader to work with Iron Man. Thor will be back eventually. In the 60's The Avengers were loved, respected and admired by the public in the early issues but The Ultimates are labelled as terrorists. Also the Avengers didn't kill (except Cap who killed Zemo) but Hank had no problem crushing living beings under his foot in Ultimates #1 Like I said. It's a modern update on Avengers. I am loving it.👌👍

Will you tell your biggest secrets to a person you're just starting to know? What's what dates are for. Mark and Amber had been together for months, but most of that time he was in the hospital, they had really just had less than a dozen dates. Yes there's a point when he not telling her is ridicule, but the question is when he should do it. In some Superman versions, Clark waits to tell Lois about his identity because he wants to be sure she loves him, not Superman. Black Cat was actually created to prove that a relationship wouldn't work if the woman was only interested in the hero and not in the person, exactly like was the case with both Catwoman and Lois Lane at the time.

Honestly I can't say I'm convinced, like considerd someone like Eddie Brock, for the most part he and spiderman were friends for a time and than bang, he's a villain and he'll catwoman may be batman love interest but she's also an actual freaking criminal and notoriously untrustworthy. Not to mention the secret is also for the heros safety. Not to mention its not like the reveal won't have an impact. You used be gay as an example but thier are countless stories of great parents who seemed so accepting and understanding only for it all to suddenly change the second it thier kids came out to them
@somethingcentralcomics1339
@somethingcentralcomics1339 9 ай бұрын
With Eddie Brock, were he and Peter that great friends? I don't remember that, I was under the impression that they were friends a long time ago and then when they met back up, they weren't who they remembered the other being, leading to that divide, but since then they've become friends and trust each other. In fact, Venom/Eddie have been heroes longer than villains so it doesn't strike me as a bad that Eddie knows Peter is Spider-Man. It almost feels like if Eddie knew Peter was Spider-Man rather than the symbiote showing him, it would have gone over better, but that's my opinion on that dynamic, we'll never know. Also, Catwoman is a criminal, but like, who cares that she steals from the rich? Batman seldom does, Gotham War being the big exception but he was also losing his mind. I'm not a fan of Catwoman, but I wouldn't say she's untrustworthy. She's just a thief when she's written in character and has never given up Batman's identity as Bruce, even WHEN he threatened to arrest her. Even under torture, she refuses to give up his secret. I don't remember what I said, I think a "coming out" analogy was a mistake on my part. Because it truth, it's not as close a parable as I would have thought. When a superhero reveal their identity to their loved ones, their loved ones know the truth so they don't have to be gaslighted, but... what else are they going to do? They can't stop a superhero from being a superhero the way a parent can beat a kid for being gay. Could you imagine Aunt May or the Kents trying to stop Spider-Man and Superman? It doesn't work, I've realized that this comparison really doesn't hold water, and I shouldn't have mentioned it.
@kylanmarsh8194

@@somethingcentralcomics1339 to be honest I could be wrong or maybe miss remembering how close they were but I still feel it's something to consider. You never know how life will turn out or change people or how some people will react to sertan information and if you're wrong even onec that will literally put every one else you know as well as your self in danger, I can see the arguments for some heroes not needing the secret but for the most part it seems necessary to a lot of the ones who have them

I think this book is gonna make waves as it settles, and while some may be turned off by the lack of what they're used to, it'll only strengthen Peach Momoko's identity for the book. Often times we already have the lore for mutants and the X-Men established, but what happens in a world without all that? When there are so few mutant characters we now pop into someone's life as their powers emerge? With no current guides as far as we know? All that possibility makes this fascinating, and the beautiful artwork combined with the folklore inspiration truly serves to make this an X-Men unlike any other.
