That is what we like to do mate. Enjoying our animals. Not a big thing to shange settings uf needed at the same time. Once I am happy with the settings that would only be two times per year going into and out off DST.😀

Sorry for the delay. . I love the terrarium I don't have the knowledge as electricity doesn't like me 😂 You amaze me! I found this very interesting and was very impressed. I wish I had your ability. I took an electrical shop course in high school but barely passed 😂. How was the cost compared to buying one?
@greenmachinesweden10 сағат бұрын
Thanks mate. The total cost was around 100 Euro. The light replaced had similar specs and is 220 Euro plus shipping, VAT and customs fees. That would be nearly 3 times as expensive in the end. But that is a really beautiful unit, which off course comes with a cost. I will show it in my next video.😀👍

They can eat everything living that fits in the bladders and this one have very small bladders. It may do, but it may not. To be completely sure go for a species with bigger bladders. I do not have any pest problems in my collection.

@greenmachineswedenАй бұрын
The difference between zelkova serata and ulmus parvifolia is not big. However for some reason all the mass import of ulmus parvifolia is wrongly labled zelkova. We are talking milions of wrongly labled trees and I do not know why, but there must be a reason to it. Anyway, true zelkovas is quite rare. If you think it looks like a zelkova may be because you also have experience from wrongly labled trees. Thanks for watching and comenting.🙂👍

@greenmachinesweden2 ай бұрын
Oval ceramic. 50*40×10 cm. I suggest you get the trees first and after find a suitable pot rather than the other way around. I had the trees for a full year, doing trunk selection before I put them in the pot.

@@greenmachinesweden Perfect! One more question, if I may: what type of soil did you use? Thank you!
@greenmachinesweden2 ай бұрын
@fabmura1966 This was one of my early potting. I did not remove all nurcery soil. So about 50% of it and I added akadama and seramis to fill up. Nowadays I do not use any of those products. My take on it is that it does not matter that much what soil you use. Just as long as you adapt your watering regime to the soil it the other way around. Just 50-100% inorganic granular ingredients. Use what you have readily awailable locally, preferably also produced locally. Makes no sense to ship dirt all over the planet.

@@XxXaRvoxXx I do think the risk of getting tazed is way bigger than the risk of getting frozen in 14c water, which is non existing. 😄
@XxXaRvoxXx3 ай бұрын
@@greenmachinesweden Perishing from exposure is commonly called "freezing to death". A quick search found that you can actually "freeze to death" in room temperature if you´re passed out on the cool basement floor, especially if your´e naked and wet. The electric current flows through the path of least resistance and water is a electrical insulator, as well as the building materials used in your pond. So a closed circuit powered by a DC battery would be safe, even if your wires were naked, as long as they are sufficiently far away from each other. Limiting the voltage is prudent of course, you cant go swimming with a 100V circuit taped to your chest, but less than 10-15 Volts (enough to heat a kanthal wire for instance) should be safe. Some companies are actually selling electrically heated and battery operated vests, so point proven. :) So i would say that you are literally right; i wont turn into a block of ice in your pond, but you are practically wrong as i would presumably only survive for an hour or so in your pond without a heatsuit.. :)
