Yin deficiency can’t be that easy to fix, taking a multivitamin and eating those foods. My acupuncturist has been treating me for 10 months and I’m still not better. Is he not a good acupuncturist? Does this take forever to fix. Do I need to change acupuncturist? I would love your point of view. I really enjoy your videos, I feel you speak to the common woman, and I appreciate all that you do.

Thank you so much for your kind words and for being a part of this community. I really appreciate your support! Addressing your concerns about Yin deficiency and the progress of your treatment, it's essential to understand that health is highly individual, and what works for one person may not work for another. Here are a few key points to consider. Each person's body responds differently to treatments. Yin deficiency can be complex. Healing and restoring balance can take time, especially for conditions that have developed over a long period. Health and healing are deeply personal journeys. What's most important is finding a path that feels right for you and supports your overall well-being. When it comes to yin deficiency, there are many different aspects of your health that need to be rebuilt from simple to complex. Usually, three years is a good starting point. It's great that you're exploring all the options available and incorporating the approaches that you believe might work best for you.

I’m an acupuncturist didn’t take the jab. There was so much info available at the time from people who were respected and at the top of their fields (until they didn’t go with the plan and were smeared and removed) that it seemed like a no brainer to me but there were only 4 of us attending the college who didn’t get it. I thought people would be on my side and boy was I wrong. It caused a real divide among us. Looking back I don’t regret my decision as the data coming out the last few years does not support the “safe and effective” claim. The number of young healthy athletes dropping dead is downright frightening. I didn’t trust the government or big pharma before Covid and now they do not even have a chance to win me over that door is closed forever. I hope everyone who reads this is well I don’t wish anyone harm. I have 4 adult children and a wife who all had it and thankfully no major problems have arisen. Meanwhile I treat people for issues that arose since the jab including women who miscarried. Nobody wants to admit they were fooled or poisoned their children so the truth will be very slow to come out

Very courageous of you to share your journey. I am a 56 year old male who was obese my entire adult life. I went back to college at the age of 52 to study TCM (I am now an acupuncturist) after a 30 year career in front line mental health work. I have lost over 120 pounds since 2020 and I can honestly say I was never miserable at any point. I got a dog and walk him several times a day. (5-10 km a day) Stopped eating at night and began eating breakfast. I Try to avoid the usual pitfalls ( booze, pop, take out, artificial sweeteners etc) I credit the knowledge I gained by studying the basics of TCM and I did get a concoction of herbs from a doctor of TCM to clean out my system and assist my body in “draining the dampness and phlegm” I had accumulated from decades of poor lifestyle choices ( I used to overindulge in alcohol and drugs and had terrible experiences with SSRI medication that led to bloating and cravings and did not help the actual anxiety and depression) I now enjoy exercise and eating sensibly. I still have “bad food” occasionally as I never found being a puritan about anything worked for me. I feel no pain when I walk (I used to) and overall feel like I did 30 years ago. I wanted my clients to be able to look to me for advice on living a good life and when I was over 300 pounds I did not feel like anyone would want my advice as I looked like Jim Belushi before he died. I now feel authentic and have printed a “before and after” discovering TCM photo of myself which is hard for me to look at but it has resulted in people being genuinely curious about how I lost the weight. I post this info to motivate people not to gloat. I realize many people have health and other obstacles that will make their journey more difficult than mine. I was fortunate that my body responded quickly to exercise and better eating and I have the luxury of a supportive partner and a flexible schedule. I did not think I would be able to do what I have done and it seems the weight loss is permanent. I wish the best to others on a similar path and TCM herbs and acupuncture have played a huge roll in my success. Good luck everyone

Thanks for your explanation on redheads. I'm a 54yr old menopausal red head. I work as an electrician/communications tech and love it. I'm also trying to build my own home. Yes with my own hands. The hardest thing is knowing when to rest or when to go. The mind is often expects more than the body is able. But then there are the times that you feel so much better for pushing yourself. I think you're spot on, but when my emotions get to a certain level of intensity I cry. Happy or sad. I think menopause has reduce my natural energy levels. Finding the new balance is challenging. I've also known a red head to took on too much and then took his life as his abilities declined with age, so sad. A huge eye opener.

Awesome! Reading how you're embracing your journey and igniting your fire is truly inspiring. Thank-you for sharing. Aging is a remarkable phase of life, but it's often overlooked or misunderstood. Sometimes, the media presents an unrealistic view, promoting eternal youth and fostering self-criticism. This narrative fails to acknowledge the depth of our life experiences and the wisdom we've acquired along the way. Perhaps the confusion that comes with aging serves as an opportunity for us to cultivate self-compassion. Whatever lessons we gather, they're worth sharing with others. Good-luck on your house. Every change you create will make your home more beautiful and imbued with your identity.

people who worry about GMO really baffle me. Every crop we eat has been genetically manipulated by us. It was just done in a primitive way by breeding various varieties with traits we wanted together and finding one that we find useful. Modern genetic modification is just a more targetted way of accomplishing that same thing. Being worried about that makes as much sense as being worried about salt because it is made up of two chemicals that are toxic to us- sodium and chlorine. You have far more to worry about from pesticides on imported produce than whether is something is a GMO crop or not.
@BestAcupunctureLLC4 ай бұрын
I think you're trying to compare apples to apples when one of these is an orange. Cross-pollination can happen in nature (hybrids). Inserting genetic material from a different species could never occur in nature. Our bodies have not evolved to consume genetically modified products, especially products modified with pesticides (poisons) like round-up resistance. But, I hear you. You have a valid concern because it is valid to you.

@@BestAcupunctureLLC Well, who knows? You may have been drawn to that spot on this particular day and at that specific time... One more quick thing, as my last message, before I let you go. As I sit here and think that my memories of the one that I love are the only thing that I now have left (which seems like a very poor consolation) at least we do have good memories of those that we've lost. The picture you chose as your thumbnail to this video shows that both you and Lisa had a good sense of humor and had fun together. You have to smile at that picture ! I have to sometimes force myself to remember the better days. But, it's bittersweet, now. It's very sad having to go forward, now missing who we've lost. I sometimes have to work at it to try and remember the good, fun times. And when I do try to remember happier times, that sometimes makes me depressed because I know that those days are gone, never to be repeated. Knowing that no more future memories will be made with the one that we're missing is hard to accept. We love them. We miss them (terribly) as we know that life will never be the same again, without them. As hard as it is only going on memories these days, we can tell ourselves that our lives were so much better because the ones we've lost were a part of our life, in the first place. But none of this (having to do with them not being here, anymore) is easy. It's the toughest thing in the world to try and live with. Take Care, Terry.

When you want to use exercise to make progress, there are three indicators that give a good insight whether you are on the right path and not overdoing. First, the speed in which your heart rate drops immediately after having done an activity. This shows whether your body is capable to recover from the activity and by that, how resilient you are. Second, also an indication of resilience: the speed in which your body manages to get back to your average daily heart rate. Third, an indication that your resilience is dropping: the speed in which your heart rate rises, when you are active in the hours and days after having done more intensive activities. If it shoots up way too fast on anything you do, you have overexercised. What it feels like to me, when I have been to active, is that my body responds with stress. I think that's because the energy production can no longer keep up with what I try to do, probably because of the musle cells issue. The brains then respond by triggering stress hormones, in order to raise blood pressure, heart rate and breathing, to quickly get more oxygen into the system. Also, the breathing and chest issues, to me feel as if my diaphragm muscles get stuck. I often wonder if that actually is where the problem starts: the muscle cells in the diaphragm not cooperating because they get damaged and don’t heal fast enough. In my case, trying to stay active in an evenly way, without getting into a forced rest situation, has led to the most long-term progress. Resilience is improving and I still believe that some day, it will become possible again to exercise wíth pushing. The body needs to get back to the point where it’s capable again to quickly clean and repair the cells that you damage when you have been active. And I think it’s the speed and amount of energy production that determines when that moment will be.
@BestAcupunctureLLC4 ай бұрын
TwoMillionth, Thank you for sharing your insights. I like how you are using your heart rate to help find answers and how you've found it works. I'm finding if mine goes low its "oh crap" for me. Yet, you really got me thinking, especially about how cells might be struggling to heal with everything going on. It's concerning that after three years, the cells haven't bounced back like they should. I also wonder if the lipid nanoparticle could be playing a bigger role. Your idea about finding a way to avoid forced rest really resonates with me. Let's keep sharing and see if we can come up with some solutions together.
