I placer mine & in the last two years finally started to try to understand more about lode mining your videos are grate even tho I still don’t understand what a lot of what your saying is lol geology is hard your your very smart with it & learning a ton & especially on the copper canyon mt sicker videos of the history I lived in bower for a few years & a girl told me about this mine but did not no where it was So this is a treat

Hey, I've watched your videos in the past, and have found a few high grade copper silver chalcopyrite deposits in the western US. [Tenorite, malachite, chrysocolla, galena, iron and chalcopyrite azurite and borinite] I got curious and reached out to a mining company that was interested enough to have me meet with a few of it's geologists. My question is, I have very similar quartz (and quartzite) veins and minerlization. Is the ground your prospecting already owned mineral rights? Is it illegal to mine there? Or are my chalcopyrite and bedded sulfides maybe kind of worthless.😑? Would be curious to know from an independent expert on this kind of ore

Is the ever any gold in that kind of ore?

I’m not 100% sure about the technique you used for panning. Wouldn’t most people be concerned with dropping larger nuggets of gold with those pebbles/stones/rocks? I would be tempted to inspect them closer before dropping them into the creek. 🤓

2% copper is [roughly] 175 CAD per ton at present spot prices, not counting any other metals.

I think there is more value in the magnetite, if there is any gold in there the same sluice that cleans up the magnetite will trap the gold if set up correctly. Pure magnetite sand is a commodity.
@911miningАй бұрын
Ironically, this iron formation also has up to a percent copper and zinc.
@jamesthompson8008Ай бұрын
Wow, VERY surprising to me(non geologist) that the assay showed 'just' above 2% copper. By the look of those samples/sulfides, I'd have thought it'd be way higher. WHEN the time comes that Canada would allow mining again(lol), I'm guessing this area could get mowed down. Keep 'em coming guys!!
@911miningАй бұрын
This is just a small section of the occurrence. Where there's less magnetite the contact that mineralized is 3-5× that copper wise. Stay tuned for another video from this area.
