How do you find the neck size? When I got mine, it fitted great in the body and arms but the neck hole was huge. Had to get it adjusted in the end as it was far too wide and gaped if i lent forward.

It looks good because they tailored it by shortening the length per the costume designer. merz needs to figure their body lengths out- the wide necklines, short arms and long body are super unflattering unfortunately.
@sonofastag26 күн бұрын
We mention that they shortened it at 1:38 - Some of the extra length in the body goes after the first wash, but like anything else we recommend that the best way for your garments to look great is to have your clothes adjusted to fit you specifically. Clothing like this needs the extra length to cater for different body types - it's a lot easier to shorten a garment than to lengthen it.

I kind of like the white outsole on the boots, & have some myself on some Yuketens, but does this have some kind of historical precedent? ... or is it just a new thing where vibram was used quite recently?
@sonofastagАй бұрын
So the inclusion of Vibram is Yukuten adding their own quality of life improvements to historically inspired designs. There is bit more info on their website and a great article on Heddels called Meg Company: Yuki Matsuda's Modern Heritage which takes a look at some of the history of Yuketen's founder and parent company and captures there brand's influences and philosophy quite nicely.

this one isn’t really elitist, pretty good tips here if you decide to take fashion a little more serious it seems, it’s not like “go buy these 500dollar jeans” it’s “here’s how to pick the right ones and love them longer” if anything it’s the opposite of elitist.

Denim are made of cotton. Cotton is a plant. It needs to be watered once in a while
@sonofastagАй бұрын
Can't argue there!

You do understand the cotton is dyed, right? And that dye fades dramatically with washes, right? And that washing cotton is not the only way to remove bacteria, right? You do know these things?

@@Youcantleavethisempty01 I mean, freezing doesn’t work - you can get them cleaned once in a while. He’s not saying wash them every time you wear them - but like-I’d rather have the indigo fade than have food down the front of my jeans. fades are a part of their life cycle as workwear. There’s no shame in showing off a bit of wear.
@theyellowgoat6372Ай бұрын
@@Youcantleavethisempty01 sadly fibers of unwash jeans tend to be brittle, dirt and grim get stuck in between the fibers and with fiction it breaks. I would trade a less nicer fades than jeans with holes on it. Plus I didnt said "washed" I said WATERED. A little soak would be nice once in a while
