Cuffing selvedge jeans was the thing in the mid 80s. Cuffed 501s, waxed DM shoes, white tee, MA-1 jacket and you were good to go…

They're going to bunch up and bend, particularly around the knees. i usually wear mine around for a day or two before getting them hemmed.
