Hey there! Awesome video. I have a quick question. When I add .pbix files, it shows the default File image. Is there I way I can edit in a different image in gallery view?
@Academy365-Dan6 күн бұрын
Hey! Thanks for that! You know I had a look at swapping out the file type icon but couldn't get it to work and then ran out of time. I'm 100% confident it can be done. Maybe somebody here can share a solution or approach. It's an itch I intend to scratch myself... SharePoint won that battle but we can win the war! 😉 If you figure it out let me know! I'll give you all the credit 🙌 Also... 'The Dude'... that has to be a Lebowski reference right?

Hey Robert, thanks for the comment! Great idea. Creating the JSON would be a little more involved as the gallery designer is not as forthcoming in the site pages library but no reason it wouldn't work with a little help from AI (my coding ability is still in the Padawan stage! 🎓)

Hello! First of all, thank you very much for your tips that have helped me a lot since I discovered your channel. I replied on my test site and, MAN, it’s splendid! I just noticed something in your tutorial that I couldn’t replicate. In your gallery cards, the values of the choice column appear with the colors as they appear in the list view. In my case I couldn’t replicate this. The values appear in line and separated by a comma. How did you manage to do that?
@Academy365-Dan12 күн бұрын
Hey Oli, thanks for that. Im delighted you are implementing this stuff and it's working out :-D. Sounds like you have enabled multiple selections. I think that is why you are not getting the result formatting. I have tested it and am seeing the same as you are. I don't have a solution to that right now but will take a look

As long as you don't swallow it, you should be fine! ;-) I don't see why not, I use it all the time and it is pretty industry standard for design (most designers I work with these days are using it). Is there anything in particular that is concerning you with it?

@@Academy365-Dan Apologies! And thank you ☺️. I will be purchasing your course so that I can rebuild our Sharepoint site. If you look at the top of the screen at 06:00, you have the Asset Management header, then directly below you have ‘Home’, ‘Asset Management’, ‘Asset Tracking’, ‘Reference Data’ (dropdown), ‘Invoices’ and ‘Edit’. It’s that row, I’d love to be able to jump from list to list that way. When I watched some of your other videos I wondered if that row was a Sharepoint page and that was the navigation menu for the page, either way it would really help me with my different Lists. Thank you again
