He was incompetent and corrupt, a walking empty suit who gave lofty pompous speeches but offered very little in terms of actual leadership and vision. He's the biggest shyster fraud in American presidential history who the public was pushed into voting for because he was not just a liberal Democrat but (half) black. He loved having the title of president but didn't want to do the hard work required of it. He came into office thinking it was going to be a lot easier than it really was. Which is actually understandable when you've been told for years and years how brilliant you allegedly are. Of course his 8 years was completely propped up by a sympathetic media who refused to ask him any hard questions or cover his scandals. The national debt went way up while the economy stayed fairly tepid but he kept blaming Bush year after year for his own economic incompetence. ("The economy I inherited when I came into office...) Blaming the previous guy is standard issue for all new Presidents but after two or three years it doesn't work anymore after you're well established in the White House. The only thing he accomplished was making health insurance more expensive than it had to be and running up the national debt. I'll give him credit for the successful Bin Laden raid and he was fairly good on keeping up the terror strikes overseas but even with that I'm still slightly hesitant because he had to be dragged into it kicking and screaming afraid that if it didn't work it would make HIM look bad which is a trait of all narcissists. If you look at that famous photo of him in the Situation Room he looks like a small scolded child sulking in the corner and you can see his golf shirt on underneath his jacket because they had the drag him off the golf course (go figure). But when it was successful he strutted up to the podium making himself out to be George S Patton. When I think of Obama all I really remember are the pompous speeches before jetting his family off on AF1 to yet another vacation or playing golf. That's about it.
